Nice tone, but the phrasing and dynamics could be improved. Try putting accents on some on the notes, or a cresendo and decrewcrendo to create variety in your sound.

I played this song in a field show in high school and did the alto solo. I'm going to second what mmulnix321cg said. Need clearer articulation and more air support especially in the higher register, though there isn't much of that in this tune. Keep playing! Saxophone is a great instrument.

good job! but you know how you really blew for the bridge? you should do that as often as possible. my old teach used to preach, just blow and then play the notes, you get a smoother sound,. good job! none of these bitches here could play if they tried!peace!

immature phrasing because you are not articulating at all, ta ta not wah wah. You could use scooping techniques with your mouth to get a jazzier tone if that is what you wanted.

It's more of a jazzy way of playing. he definitaly tounged, just because he didn't make the reed Snap, doesn't mean he didn't toung, all he need's is a little vibrato, and a bit better timming, and talking in Capital letters doesn't get your point across, it, really just enforces your a moron.

its all with the air and how you use your mouth. make sure you get a full breath so you have strong air support. that is key. just practice trying to have a better tone, thats the only way you can improve.

ok heres some comments:

1. play with emotion! sure you got the notes (most of the time) but its BORING if you just do that. music is more than notes

2. make sure you have good tone: on the higher notes dont tighten up your mouth so much

3. dont use so much tongue

Hey man...watched a few of your vids. I've been playing sax for 15 years, in high school, college, and a little gigging.

First some advice... get that airstream going, open up that sound. You may have been scared of blasting the mic, but you need to support a lot better.

But for real, just keep it up and nice work. It's a skill to keep with you your whole life, don't give it up.
