  • She's soooo pretty, and her moves are BEAST! I hope to dance...soon. Lol videos of good dancers like this are what keep me motivated..love this dance more than any other.

  • LMFAO XD...

  • wow thats one of the most beatiful shawls i ever seen! i making my regilia now

  • My favorite dance was always the Crow Hop, i loved dancing to crow hop... I actually danced a few years back (Not in full regalia). They had this little side contest going on at the school for any dancers, with or without regalia. So i took my shawl started dancing & won... Won a powwow cd and 100 bucks :) People were happy to see me dancing again & said i should start back up.

  • Oh and obviously the person who disliked this, is just jealous cause they cant do this... Some people may think its easy but it takes a lot of time to make ur regalia, practice ur steps & concentration to make sure you start, keep and land on beat.

  • I love at 5:25 when you did the steps to the honor beats! I used to fancy dance back when i was younger but i had to put it aside & raise my kids... I've been teaching my girls how to fancy dance though & they are pretty good :) Love ur regalia & you dance beautifully btw :)

  • this is very beautiful and i love the way you share the story of the dance- thank you

  • My cousin sage playing the flute while the history of the dance was being told

  • you did good girl, awesome dancer, beautiful regalia, your represented the fancy dancer with pride and humilty

  • What language is she speaking? I can understand her some what because I can speak Spanish. What Tribe is the speaker from and what is the name of the language?

  • thank you for sharing your dance with other people that they would and will understand the native culture a little bit better, may the creator watch over you and your family and friends as the years pass a-ho

  • Beautiful dance!!! Your moves are inspiring...im an artist myself so just seeing your body connect with the music reminds me of how I feel when I connect to a song and its tempo. Keep doing what you do...its us the small people who make the big changes by doing what we enjoy.

  • You guys are great!! Gotta love Native people. I miss my Native friends. Thanks for posting this.

  • @flowNfly Thank you :))

  • love it! I dance fancy too! amazing work!

  • @Allison121497 uh, you do? um....do you think i can learn? we recently just settled into a new home and finally found a pow wow group and i really really want to learn, maybe if i do, i can be accepted and maybe find some friends around here. it would be nice to have the opinion of someone who can do it.

  • @TimberNightSong Yeah! I had to learn when I was little, maybe 9 or 10! It's learnable, but you have to be a bit light on your feet! You're moving constantly to different drum beats of the song, and adrenaline is usually pumping, but afterward you feel great! It's an amazing form of dance, so I can still do it, but I dance Ladies Traditional now...I danced fancy for about four years! It brings you so much closer to the Cherokee community! I think any girl can do it...if you just have confidence

  • @Allison121497 um, not exactly sure what walking on light feet means, like skipping?

  • @TimberNightSong Not skipping, but did you see in the video where she's moving her feet very quickly and not faltering? And that she crosses her feet and twirls when the beats are faster? That's technically what I mean by light on your feet! You're moving so quickly that if you don't want to mess up you have to concentrate and stay focused!

  • @Allison121497 hey, i might get good but i will never be good as her, she is amazing. And yeah, thanks i see it, i plan to practice hard, i have way too much time on my hands around here and this will be something good, something to define who i am, something nobody else in my family does. It seems i am too occupied......with not being occupied...if that makes any sense at all lol.

  • @TimberNightSong I have friends who started young and will never be as good as she is! It took me a little while to really learn how to do it well, so don't give up!

  • 6:03 = amazing.
