I dont see why anyone has problems with stability with windows. I have not even had to restart my pc since last time I did updates. And still havent crashed or had single issue in like a year. Or gotten virus, cause dur I installed anti virus. I got to unknown websites open emails with attachments. And download demos from places I never heard of. That being said my friend who owns a mac got malware that actually fried his battery.

Most pieces of hardware for a Mac don't require driver installs, whereas every piece of hardware added to a Windows machine requires a driver install of some sort, any more often than not, it needs to be installed from a disc.

Windows 7 has done a fantastic job at eliminating the need for a specially written driver for everything, so this commercial is dated.

@vistakid10 No actually not. Mac OSX Have a special software called iPhoto (yes , I know boring) but iPhoto is connected to a component that lies right beside the USB ports. This component detects all pictures and system/unit info. Thats why they have been given so much shit lately, cus you can pretty much almost find out everything with that component.

Again, noone is forcing you in using Microsoft products here, you dont like something, turn off the module. Duh, Windows has modules you can turn off. Theres plenty of free sound programs you can use. Reaper for example?
Again, theres a whole bunch of backup software you can get. Few times more you have on mac.

Come on guys. Can we just agree that Macs and PCs both have ups and downs? I enjoy both of them. PCs for gaming and Macs for everything else. Don't get me wrong, im trying not to show favoritism but I tend to use my mac more. There both great. Lets leave it at that.

@vistakid10 No actually not. Mac OSX Have a special software called iPhoto (yes , I know boring) but iPhoto is connected to a component that lies right beside the USB ports. This component detects all pictures and system/unit info. Thats why they have been given so much shit lately, cus you can pretty much almost find out everything with that component.

You can get Counter Strike (yeah I'm serious) , Left for dead, Assassins creed, Garry's mod, half life, portal, team fortress 2, and Duke nukem all for mac on steam. On the apple store you can get plants vs zombies, call of duty, vice city, bioshock, lego games, star wars games, modern combat, Galaxy on fire and more. So all we need is battlefield.

@gso619 Idiots like you have no idea what they're talking about. Wanna play a game? Boot windows (Bootcamp/parallels/Virtualbox) or run Darwine. Wanna do some work? Use iWork, Open Office or Microsoft Works. Wanna make a movie? Use iMovie or Sony Vegas. Both are capable of all the stuff the other can do, but the only issue really is that people aren't writing their software for Mac OS X as much as they are for Windows and That's not Apples fault. There are more to Macs than their aesthetics.

@gso619 I have an Acer laptop with Windows 7. I am in no way (In the traditional sense) an "Apple fanboy", but rather a computer fanboy. Anyway, I agree with you for sure on the ads. Allot of them are very shallow and fail to tell the (Whole) truth. Sorry if it was a bit much, but I also am annoyed by the people who are like, "FUK WINDOWZ!!! MAK RULZ!!!". I just misunderstood you ;o. For the most part, though, what I said was true. both PC's and OS's are able to work and play.
