To be honest, I didn't really like this movie. I watched it last night, i felt kinda sad b.c things that happend to Dude came from bad to worse. It was funny for the last 45 minutes, then it became annoying. There were hilarious moments in it, but the rest of the movie was sad. I really want to love this movie, but I don't get whats great about it? I also couldn't get the plot. What do people see in this movie? Why is this a cult classic? How does it have 8.5/10 rating? Can someone explain?

@billruller Okay, I watched it again. Now I see why people like this movie. I gotta take it as a funny manner than a serious manner. I think the movie was friggin hilarious, and so was the plot. I figured out everything, and it was lil complex but hilarious. John Goodman steals the show, and Jeff Bridges is awesome. I watched this movie like 5 times on Netflix and still want to see it again.

Very entertaining movie with weird but intriguing storyline and nice acting. Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Julianne Moore and Steve Buscemi did a great job. I think Tara Reid deserved more screen time as well. 'The Big Lebowski' is one of my favorite comedies ever (along with Heartbreakers, Meet the Fockers, Miss Congeniality, The Gods Must Be Crazy 2, Made In America, Elvis Has Left the Building and some others)
