yeah right, federation flagship and the same enterprise that took on a borg cube and survived intact, the same enterprise that took on so much worse.. and then it comes up against a 50 year old bird of prey and is destroyed, what a joke, should have at least been a neg-var or vorcha attack ship or even a romulan warbird :/

@wsad8you Their shield frequency was known, that's what did them in. They didn't have the phasic thing set up like with the Borg, plus they were in a gravity well.

@wsad8you I think the hidden point that they failed to really make obvious here was that the overconfidence of Picard led them to fall to a "50 year old klingon bird of prey".. but really it just came off as a weak story with a weak climax and a weak reason to build the Enterprise-E because they felt the D was "not good for movies"
