Okay here's what you need: GTS 250 and up will max out crysis so stop bothering them lol. Intel core 2 quad or AMD processors X2 and up reccomended. 2gb RAM reccomended.

it depends on everything ur running & what res. 1680x1050 i run everything on very high with AA at 4x get 22-35fps with AMD Phenom X4 9950 @ 3.2Ghz, 4GB of OCZ DDR2 1066, and XFX 4870 1GB core @ 790Mhz mem @ 1100Mhz so it really depends on your res and everything in your rig from CPU to mobo. GTX 285 is over priced junk 4870 or 4890 will run better especially considering the price

Almost, I have GTX 280 and Crysis only just manages Very High settings at 1440x900 res.

Maybe some tweaking and lower resolution. But GTX 260 should manage High Settings @ 1680x1050 just fine.

Actually, I'm not 100% if this video shows Very High or if by Ultra High it means some custom setting that is more than Ultra High.

depends on resolution if your on 1680x1050 your gonna get around 28 fps at 1280x1024 youll be getting high 30s i don think it will be playable at 1920x1080 unless your happy with 18-22 fps

if you sli'd your gts 250 youd be getting around high 30s low 40s on 1920x1080

GTS 250's are exellent if you ask me. They OC great. Will do 810MHz, and at that clockspeed it is about as fast as the 260 in real life.

Crysis digs CPU clockspeed and doesn't care about quadcores.

Though it's much more GPU heavy. My CPU is just going at 65% in game.

you've got one of the badest processors in history its just an old pentium i think you overclocked it but its still to weakeven with your hd4830

ive got an ugly petium d @3.00 ghz *2 and a geforce 8600 overglocked i can play crysis only on mainstream and thats not very easy for my proccesor ( 90°C ) so you have to get a much better proccesor like an q6600

its when your hardware isnt able to perform as much as it could . the graphics card would be 'bottle necked' by the cpu because the cpu which means 'proccessor' in a more simple term wouldnt be able to process the power of the card, you could say this results in the card being lowered in performance so that the cpu can handle it :D i hope this helps , if you have anymore problems just ask me

You can't play those on max because your CPU bottlenecks. Yes GTX 295 is better than 4870 x2 and it plays all games on max when the cpu doesn't bottleneck.
