There's an episode where someone from Lexcorp helps Lois expose something corrupt at Lexcorp. Later, Lois gets an award for it and the guy goes crazy because she basically uses him for info and then never talks to him again. The episode consists of several homicide attempts and Superman consistently saving her. The name of the episode or the season it was in I don't know, but they were trying to ditch the car because the guy had taken it over by remote control and was going to make them crash.
