Carving by hand is totally different from machine labor. The only thing done by hand is sanding and staining.. The machine is doing all the work. Mass production vs limited production. Its still wood carved from a drill bit. My wallet, my decisions, my opinion. What you do with your wallet is your business,

Beautiful thumb hole stocks but too expensive. Around 200 dollars I can buy a cheap 22lr rifle for that. 90 to 100 dollars is reasonable. Its just a stock not gold.
