well assassins creed 1 is a amazing game. i likes how this one took alot of skill, and i dig how the brotherhood is like a big ass army as in the outhers not so much. i love altires cold blooded heartless voice he had in the game, its one of the things that made him a badass that we all love. out of the 4 that ive played this would be my 3rd favorite, i mean i love this alot its just that the outhers are more modern.

You need a helluva powermill to run this game. With my AMD athlon x2 processor..  it's impossible. I pretty much have to put everything to the minimum settings at 640 480 resolution to run SOMEWHAT smooth.

@sirlordwhitman i know with the latest pc configurations, pc games look great. but it's annoying and expensive to upgrade your pc every now and then - one could actually spend that money of buying more games. and games are advancing so fast that pc's always fall short of that one new great looking game. and it's not like you can only change a 200$ graphic card, but you have to upgrade other things to create a compatible and coherent machine. that's the reason i got my xbox and i love it! =)

I figured it was my Video card because it was older even though it was PCI express... but the initial tests the game ran showed it to be my CPU and not the card. Ya, I give up.. might as well buy a 3 year old PS3 and still run the latest and greatest games!

The game isn't that perfect, I've played it on PC, and I put it the graphics on the maximum.

The graphics are pretty much awesome, the fights are incredible, Altair is swinging his sword there, swinging his sword over there.. uh.. throwing knifes and shit.

But this just gets fucking boring.

Every mission, every assassination got nearly the same mission.

Listen, steal, or just beat someone up to get some information.

The game is fine with the graphics and the fights, but the missions are boring.

I watched Ign's review then Gamespot's review. Ign always focuses on the bad, while Gamespot always looks at the good. But Ign puts out the points which make the game terrible, while Gamespot points out the good points. I think its an amazing game and is a definite keep, but its way to repetive. I would give this a 8.8/10.

This is an awsome game and i agree with this review completly. As you all know Assasins Creed II is coming out on november 17. Somtimes in games that have a secual, you dont really have to play the first one to get the story, well Asassins Creed is not one of those games. You must play the first one to get it at all. It is also like daredevil jumping from roof to roof. the counter attacks are cool. its just that anytime you kill an innocent your health comes down. The guy that you play as sucks at punching. But they have some awesome missions. 94%. and and dont forget to get Assassins Creed 2.

Assassins Creed 2. Dec 09. You play as another of Desmonds ancestors named Ezio in Venice, set around the time of Da Vinci. Its been confirmed ezio can swim and hide under the water in the canals, in fishcarts or under woodpiles. Instead of the 4 or 5 mission types in AC (pickpocket ect) there is 16 in the new game. You can now blend in with any crowds, More diverse weapons (axe, spear). Theres better health system and a DAY-NIGHT cycle (imagine assassination missions at night. Wow.

the thing i dislike about this game is that its all the same in every city..

Go to a city, explore towers, do favors to get info ect - kill an important dude - and off to the next city... Nothing like go find a guy in a forest or a desert or something. Just same thing over and over again.

I still love playing it though - amazing to jump buildings. The combat mechanism is fun but you can kinda just grab and throw a person and then use the pop up knives to kill him. Only challenge r the crusaders
