Im diabetic,after diagnosis my wife and I were sent on an educational course to learn all about the disease and how to deal with it.We recieved advice on lifestyle,foods and excersise. I have to have regular 3 monthly check ups,regular blood tests,annual retinal scans,regular urine tests and contintual medication.Im fit,well and lead a wonderful life.The cost? Nothing, completely free.I live in the UK. God bless our NHS.
