They are rather exceptional but the online system is not up to par with that of the Xbox 360's. I do actually plan on buying a PS3 in the summer to actually see if there is that much of a difference, but from what I've seen, the 360 just has better content and online.

The ps3 song USED to be true in the beggining of the console war. I even hated ps3 before i purchased my own.

Now, Sony deffiantley learned from the complainers. Online has improved SUBSTANTIALLY, they have made up for many lost exclusives (sadly only keeping MGS series to a certain extent) with games such as Uncharted, and infamous. Overall feature and support improvements.

And evne yes... they not only defeated 360's price in terms of value. but there retail price itself at one point!!

There are other reasons why PS3 is a investment in itself I mean hell it's got a built in bluray player which would cost you $200-300 on it's own at the moment also soon all CDs will be upgraded to bluray as it's a double layered disk which can hold 2 times as much memory as the DVD-CDs this means better quality games but not only the games also over time XBL adds up to a costly amount which takes the price well over the PS3 for much less than what the PS3 offers. ^^
