  • 0:47 I didn't know the most elite police force in the world held their guns like gangsters

  • Taiwanese police - underarmed, underarmoured, and undertrained

With a low operating budget and low public opinion, morale has been very low for over a decade.

Their officers are afraid to shoot enemies because they'll end up getting sued anyways, not to mention the media backlash that has become common around the island nation.

  • what style of kung fu is this??

  • always fear the smaller ones

  • 8 people are robber's

  • These moves are heavily choreographed

  • I wish they would get these guys too the UK.... fucking chavs would be gone forever

  • @turquoiselephant hahaha too right. send them to london to end all the riots, kids need teaching a lesson

  • I'm from the United States, alot of people in police and riot videos always say SOMETHING about "bring them to London, end the riots" is it very dangerous in London or just alot of punk kids? What's going on in London, all I've ever seen about riots and London is Muslim riots. Or is that what you're talking about???

  • @GuamKomudo nah the riots that just past was just teenagers from age 11 to young adults 20 ish just breaking shop windows steeling goods, setting fires things of that nature, all mixed races.they just decided to run riot,it started as a dispute over cut backs but exculated with mindless looting and greed just because they knew their wasnt enough police to keep em getting out of hand.

  • @GuamKomudo Nah they are pretty bad, no worse than american cities though, and a lot of people who where joining in where just oppourtunists

  • 1:44 "The arrest method uses the techniques of Chinese Kung Fu..."

1:48 "They don't take any prisoners do they?"

    Mixed messages?

  • airsoft?

  • that is not kung fu it is hapkido that they do and the reason is the locks/takedowns/throws are exactly the same and the kicking they do is definataly korean in the way they do the techniques

  • just what we need in the uk

  • @kentheblacksmith too bloody right mate. would get some of the wannabe gangstas off the streets.

  • Your channel could be so much better... listen to bamboostinger... post the whole show dam u!

  • Lot of jumping about wasting energy...more display for the commander than actual real life techniques.

  • shit....... like they said, u do not want to be a bad guy when these guys show up :P

  • well either the translator got it wrong.

but their training has taekwondo and MMA.

so basically it's mixed martial arts they are using.

    using various forms of MA.

  • chinese kung fu my arse those kicks have taekwondo written all over them

  • Why didn't you post the whole show, ugly?

  • And if they lose the job they can join a circus.

  • maybe they are really good fighters (i dont believe this demo anyway^^) but their loud screaming makes it somehow hilarious

  • does the narrator really have to do some asian accent when he's voicing over the police chief??

  • For a Taiwanese swat team, their chinese martial arts demo looks exactly like a tae kwon do demo. I wish he said what gung fu system they were based off of.

  • Super Nijaaaaa Dounuts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THE EYES ON THE TARGET xDD 1:00

  • they should stop putting steroids in their donuts

  • ninjas..

  • Not impressed. Lil men look like they're dancing more than actually training combat. Fake fake fake.

  • @s0liddy

yeah why dont you go there and show them big boy!!!!!

  • @s0liddy y dont u go 2 taiwan and mess around with that swat team. i dont think u would be sayin that then

  • I love the way that the targets look like ninjas lol

  • yea lol look more like extreme TAEKWONDO and some judo grappling> But cool though

  • Assassin tried this against me awhile ago. Took him down with Krav Maga in an alley easy. I crushed his kneecaps, he crushed a gauntlet... with his face. nothing a little duct tape won't fix.

  • @TrueBATM4N w3haaat?

  • shit id hate to be a criminal there!!!

  • good for them chinks they would get man handled by our swat teams no competition U.S.A

  • @parkourmaxed you fucking yanks so fucking short sighted and cant see past ur stars and stripes and think ur the best and the world and guess what ur not even close

  • @ToonARMY08 wow dude fuck that bullshit, our swat is proven the best, what parkourmaxed said was extremely racist and doesnt represent all of america, i wish we had the guardian angels here but that doesnt make our SWAT less, ok? not all of us see as the top dawgs but by far the least, we also have stricter laws protecting criminals, which is total BS unlike other countries where you can actually put the hurt on them to stop them from hurting others!

  • @chatanwarrior wow ur the first non cocky american i hav come accross respect. and its the same in the uk, criminals actually hav rights haha, and america probably is one of the best trained forces but in taiwan the SWAT focrse hav more rights that make them more usefull if u know what im saying i was only angry at the fucking moron

  • @ToonARMY08 thanks lol, i understand anger at morons

  • @ToonARMY08 Don't lump us all in with that dickweed. Technically speaking, America hasn't had a need to delve into advnaced urban combat training, and as such, is lacking when compared to countries like Taipei and in particular, Isreal. As to not even being close to the best in the world? I disagree...we've got to be in the top 5, easy. lol.

  • They dot eate shit like some donuts)

  • I think I´d rather get busted in taiwan than mainland china. Difference: I get beaten the crap out of in taiwan. I probably get shot in mainland :/

  • i think cops in other countries are more lucky because they can use more force then american cops

  • @chatanwarrior Be glad its not Britain, i have actually seen and been in the "officer Safety Training" our force gets and .. its a bloody joke, they cover minimal Useful applicable techniques, and well i pretty much used it as a pressure test for the techniques I have learnt on unsuspecting targets, including the guy taking the OST session.

  • @tgnrogue but doesnt britan can be less gentle with their criminals in trying to capture them right?

  • @chatanwarrior Nope, they get as much as a scratch nowadays from the handcuffs they have a tendency to cry police brutality n try to sue. Is a complete joke., they have crap training an end up need up to 4 officers to restrain one guy, yet if he gets even remotely injured its the Police's Fault for being "Heavy Handed".

  • @chatanwarrior legally speaking - it's a REALLY GREY area.... 'reasonable' force is the term that is used, but usually this all boils down to who has the most compelling argument in court. Unless you're talking about LETHAL force... which is much more cut and dry.... but even so, if you're armed using the same weapon as the person you've just disarmed and use it.... then that's too far, but if they had a knife and you broke their jaw with a good elbow strike... well, you know...

  • Yup..i just shit my pants. no way you wouldn't surrender to them, that would be stupid.

  • nice move at 1:27

  • how is that at all practical

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • what style are they using

  • shuai jiao with practical applications

  • @ofomatheblackbelt San Shou mixed with Shuai Jiao

  • Are they training with airsoft guns. SO LAME. God I am so glad I don't depend on these guys to protect me from the bad guys.

  • not neccesarily- hes just prepared...

  • 1:45 choreographed, I have concluded from watching it over and over again. The guy puts his hands in position before the other guy even lifts his leg.

  • 0:17 - 0-20 were so badass lol

  • rodney king would have one hell of a problem there!!!!

  • @ofir74bonen oh ye sure uhm what was the root of most martial arts again? kungfu? =.=...dudeeee....

  • @Mukaiyun You mean Yoga surely ;).

  • What donuts are they eating?

  • @timspacedout87 the no bull shit kind

  • @Marindo ahh crap I knew I was going wrong somewhere I love donuts with a bullshit centre

  • @ninjawhale03 It's okay, just be sure to get the boston creme centers next time and you'll be fine XD

  • @timspacedout87

    ninja donuts :)

  • haha relax, just trying to trigger a normal discussion and maybe learn something =p

  • yeah ok some of the high kicks and the one with the board i agree, but you must remember a lot of kicks are shared by different martial arts.

  • and based on what you say this?

  • kung fu is a religion, gung fu is the chinese martial arts, wushu is like sport martial art but also what they use in films...

  • Great Vid - 10/10!

  • crazy asians!

  • well from the they r fightin is looks like wushu

  • Wushu is actually the real Chinese name of martial art, kung fu as its called now actually means great skill throe hard work. The art called Wushu that exists now is a sport oriented martial art and the Taiwan police force martial is not based on it. The Taiwan Police art is based on Wing Chun. Wushu=martial art, Kung Fu= great skill throe hard work.

  • I want to know what martial they have based this fantastic art on. Do someone know? In the old days Xing Yi was a very popular martial in China for military and police people.

  • its sanshou miltiary gung fu uses only effective moves for hand to hand combat involving grappling blocking hand to weapon combat. none of the gay dancing modern wushu sport crap. its all for its effectiveness

  • I actually looked it up and the martial art the Taiwan police use is based on Wing Chun. Remember that I said based on, thats why it looks more like Sanshou moves but its really Wing chun and not Sanshou.

  • I'm late to the debate. Sanshou is the sport or combat variation of a kung fu style, not a style in its self. You could have Wing Chun Sanshou, Lau Gar Sanshou and so on. It is Sanshou, and it is Wing Chun. I train in Lau Gar Sanshou and would recommend it to anyone.

  • danngggggggg very powerfull....if all of them can break bricks like that ....that city/country that their in would be peaceful lol

  • fucking hell there hardcore im never going to taiwan and robbing lol

  • 0:33 - 0:36 wtf O.O

This guys remind me of Jet lee

  • Gonna fart.

  • Kick ass Cops

  • robocop eat ur heart out

  • super cops

  • Did he say "they have to test their power so when they hit people it will hurt them"? o.O.....

  • Correction, they have to test their power so when they hit people it will BREAK them, Taiwanese criminals include the Mafia and small time goons uno

  • looks a lot like Hapkido

  • Taiwan needs a hardcore police force. Taiwanese gangs are notoriously violent.

  • this is amazing

  • fucking hell lol i just noticed that he done that with his elbow LMAO omg that would crush someones head lol cool

  • OMG check out the guy in the end lol that would be someones face lmao crazy this is kung fu just made more direct and tatical.

still love old school kung fu but this is amazing for a fight you want to clean up in a matter of secounds lol

  • what style of kung fu do they practice

  • I love how they dub the Chief General's voice with an accent "They drop down tze weponz" lol

  • Lol well it is a translator xD

  • what if the ............ bad guys lol wer lyk super fuckin marksman people wud these "hardcore .......tiwanian swat teams" lyk dodge the bulls hahahahahaha lol i think not

  • of course, they wouldn't have any long distance weapons being used by highly skilled marksmen as well now would they...?

sure they would just not have any side arms and rely entirely on kung fu skills....

  • of course they would, you're stupid. These guys can catch bullets.

  • Keep in mind, unlike most other martial artists, these guys actually have guns (they are a police force. after all). Why would you try to run at a sniper in plain sight to engage him in close quarters when you have an armed SWAT team behind you who can easily circumvent the sniper and execute him?

  • no i mean like an uber super awsome kick ass sniper lol ok .... he also has powers like the 1 from the new x-men (u know the gun 1 lol) NOW WAT LMAO

P.S i didnt think people would take this seriousely

  • lol yeah sorry I tend to get carried away.

  • lol its ok

  • You mean "Zero"?

  • urrrmmmmm....probably :?

  • at the end, wat wud that do to ur head? it wud be like reachin into a watermelan and grabbin the squishy goodness

  • at 1:27 wow that was nice

  • wow i never thot we did this in taiwan, Spartan style.

  • one word...DAMN!

  • Most probably you have noticed the submachine guns and pistols these guys are carrying.... this training is for hand to hand combat.

also, MMA means Mixed Martial Arts.... any martial art can be used, including kung fu. what you just said is like saying "pistols are shit, fire arms are the future of warfare"

  • Like what walatalalaw said, this is for close quarters combat....like what you see in metal gear.... besides, there's no such thing as asian style kung fu cause kung fu is asian >.> you're quite ignorant.

  • To "USnavySEALs17"

Please change your username. You don't deserve it. My uncle's a SEAL. Team 8, platoon 3. If he saw what you posted, he'll be disappointed. Shame on yourself.

  • I feel so proud of my country(Taiwan) now ;D

  • me 2

  • Lol at the move at 1:26

  • Yeeeeeaaaahhhhhh......... Try doing this crap with 70 pounds of kit and a 10 pound gun and ammo, flash bangs, with a Meth addict trying to wrestle you to the ground. Good luck doing a flying spin kick on him. BS.

  • if you're talking abut that kick near the end, i don't believe that's for combat itself, but more-over reflex training.

So you might want to reconsider what you said.

  • broken boards don't hit back, but neither does a man with a broken face - I think it's probably the breaking that's the part to focus on here.

  • 'You don't see coppers like that back home, do you?'

    No, for good reason too.

  • they might be best trained unit in the world I guess

  • go one on one against one of them and lets see whos the noob

  • rofl these guys are awesome !

  • That board killed my entire unit... I must have revenge.

  • "Must be subdued in a way that he can't attack us."

    Like, dead?

  • holy-terrorist:>*=* is this shit

  • Comment removed

  • and retarded youtubers like you can't say anything better than that. My god, why does everyone over use that quote? You don't sound smart. board breaking is to test strength not "who hits back". dumbfuck

  • arm bar in the beginning and a flying elbow in the end... hmm...

  • lol crazy sona of a b***hs!!! u should go to the philippines cops there will just shoot u !! nice vid

  • yikes, these guys vs. crims would be like the SAS against the care bears

  • HAHAHA!!!! first thing that popped into my head was "PUT THE FUCKING CANDY DOWN OR YOULL ALL BE AS PURPLE AND WHITE AS YOUR CUNT FRIEND OVER THERE!!" ... XD

  • I'd like to be part of a police force where the criminals are so scared of us they put down their weapons.

Why bring guns with us? just ram open the door and hear sounds of guns being thrown on the floor, LOL

  • "in practice, each one of these would be someone's chest"...ouch

  • Those boards are ridiculously thin. In theory those boards are someones chest, in practice, these boards are boards.

  • I agree with you that breaking a board like that does not demonstrate power. It is simply to mark a hit. However if it WAS a chest, the power of a kick like that would easily disable any normal person.

  • Yes but those kicks are obviously, blatantly, impractical. I can hit you in your shin and if I hit it in such a perfectly exact way I can chip a piece of your shin bone which will enter your blood stream and kill you via an embolism. Possible, yes, in theory. Probable, no, not at all. It is exactly the same with the ''boards represent your opponent'' theory.

  • jesus christ thats awesome but i'm glad my lessons aren't that full on

  • Wow the bricks at the end... I wont ever go to taiwan...

  • FEARLESS!

  • Awesome!

What a wicked Martial Art! :D

  • POLICE BRUTALITY!!!

  • we need coppers like that in England, finally get the scum off the streets

  • That's kinda like when England decides to send in the Royal Marines for armed criminals.

  • Wow... Maybe if the US trained SWAT like that we wouldn't have such a high crime rate... They'd seriously take a moment to think about it.

  • true that! now ur talking!

  • Maybe if people stopped complaining about political correctness in the USA and let police do their thing, crime would be low... SWAT in the US are well trained individuals, the best of their police force... but they have to be deployed to work; when they do, they do it well. You never hear of a SWAT team being taken out.

  • no real need for guns then ...

  • and those sick moves.......beautiful.

  • this is such a great show its a shame I no longer live in England an get to see it.

I like the brummy accent I guess too reminds me of my roots.

  • this is all good. very good. but, would it work against mainland missiles? probably not. maybe good to grab some bad guys...

  • Damn! I will never break the law in that country.

  • i thought cops only did kung-Fu in Jackie Chan movies ... obviously i was wrong

  • wow...now i see an american cop donut lover...compared to this guys...uuhhhhh!!!lame lapd

  • But these guys aren't normal cops they're equal to the American SWAT.

  • Lol scary - Was it just me or was there a hint of tkd in that - I've never seen a kung fu fighter throw a turning round house (naan bung). Any one else think the same?

  • wow.....i wanna fight like that now.

  • us police- freeze(pointing gun at criminal) criminal is too near...and kick em in the balls and use him as hostage.......and then boom one cop down......nvm

  • damn NinjaCops....they would kick ya ass hard .... :)

  • I didn't see a box of donuts, these guys can't be real cops

  • boards... dont hit back

  • its a test of strength idiot!!! ...would you believe me if an mma fighter used it...wat an american dumbass!!!!!

  • its a quote from bruce lee, jackass

  • o yea.. its not a test of strength... its a test of control

  • lol, dont call those police 'Pigs" or dont use oink puns =P

  • Man our cops are lame.

  • Amazing tricks, i love this program!! :D

  • 1:35

    Nice attack there stickman! ololol

  • Dude these guys would totally rape me if we fought.I wanna become that strong..

  • OOOOH awesome (claps!)
