  • If your daughter or son is in a car accident or get's cancer, you will shop for the cheapest doctor, the same way I shop for a phone ........... Are you serious?

I'll like to see that call, dialing 911 can you tell me who has the cheapest doctor, my daughter was just hit by a car.

  • Right at the end of the video I opened up the air vent and stuck my head in.... notice how Rand looked up at me when I did this?? Yeh, I just wanted to tell him it was time for lunch. Bye

  • BTW I was generous when I said 17th.

The WHO ranks the US 37th. The Commonwealth Fund puts the US lat or next on various measures against 6 western nations.

Say what you will you Americans will die younger than the others.

  • @cheeryble it's nationalism... ofcourse they yell that they're patriotic but really, they're just nationalistic. the same way serbia is and it's borderline insane

  • Just to finish three times a charm it amazes me that Americans truly think they are the only country with decent healthcare. They are fed crap by the shovelload constantly being told this til they believe it. If however they look at the big surveys they will see that the US comes 17th in the world. Out of interest their hate-object France comes a clear first.

  • At the same time the system can never be competitive when there are a limited and unchanging number of medical degree places.

Add to this the biggest problem, that the US wants a better system than people can afford. Too much overchecking because of litigousness. I think people would be happier to have a slightly higher chance of dying and spending less of their lives working themselves to death to pay for their insurance.

  • Not impressed with Rand Paul.

Hasn't realised that where there is supposedly competition, in drugs, in the US the prices are outrageous whereas in the UK where the government haggles to death with the pharmas and gets the absolute best prices......

  • Where did this Obama guy come from?

Obama's failed to open the Arctic Wildlife Refuge, billions of barrels of oil lie beneath few thousand acres. Accessed with minimal impact. Those barrels R equivalent to 16 yrs of imports from Saudi. Obama's repeating Carter’s failed policies, which marred his term N the 70s. Feel it this morning, Pain in U-r pocket from gas prices? Food will be on the rise.

Mobil today, $4.52 regular. Last six weeks, gas skyrockets $0.60, $5.00 by Xmas.

  • No Amen. We need Universal Healthcare Rand.

  • fuck u doc. nobody, should go bankrupt over a unprovoked heart condition

  • Sounds good.

  • The big fear of a universal healthcare system is that people think that the government would completely control it, which is false. With a universal healthcare system the doctors, hospitals, personal medical preferance, prescriptions, and nearly every thing else is private. The only thing that isn't private is the insurance. It always comes around to trying to insure people, but we forget that even the people that are insured by large health insurance companies arent neccessarily being treated.

  • Yeah and when the insurance isn't private it deletes capitalism..bc there is a fixed pricing.

  • AMEN Rand!!! Please please please get your message out!

  • brilliant and well spoken. Kentucky is indeed very lucky

  • Kentucky is blessed having Dr. Rand Paul.. very smart man..

  • Capitalism has it's place, healthcare is NOT it! There is NO place for capitalism in healthcare, anything that ISN'T elective should be FREE AT POINT OF CONSUMPTION, it is a right not a privilege, to say otherwise is simply barbaric! It is possible to have universal healthcare in a capitalist society!

  • @CartmanUK26

Capitalism is needed in healthcare most of all.

Capitalism is the solution to every single problem in healthcare.

Lack of capitalism is the cause of every single problem.

Since healthcare is not free, to claim that healthcare is a "right" is STEALING. To claim that healthcare is a "right" is EVIL. Healthcare must be paid for. Anyone who claims that healthcare is a "right" is a thief.

  • @herbs814 On the contrary, anyone who claims it is NOT a right is a fool!

My healthcare is paid as a deduction from my salary and I wouldn't have it ANY other way, it means I have access to healthcare as and when I need it!

  • @CartmanUK26

    Healthcare is NOT A RIGHT.

Anyone who acknowledges that healthcare is not a right is MORAL.

Anyone who PRETENDS that healthcare is a "right" is an evil thief.

  • @herbs814 You clearly have no idea what it means to be moral! You have not acknowledged how you counter the fact that your way causes people to die who should not have to. You simply have no real argument and I have no more time to spend on an idiot who is simply parotting propoganda. Think what you like, anyone with an ounce of sense and compassion knows you are wrong.

  • @CartmanUK26

Socialist government is what causes people to do. Capitalism is responsible for every improvement in our lives. Capitalism is responsible for every single life saved.

    All compassion comes from capitalism.

    All tyranny comes from government.

    Capitalism is 100% moral.

What part of this do you refuse to understand?

  • @herbs814 This is the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard. There is no accounting for the public welfare, compassion or morality in Capitalism. The one and only motive is to increase profit. In pure Capitalism there were no days off for workers, no sick days, and as few benefits as possible. Capitalism requires an entity to restrain it and provide it rules in order for any type of middle class to exist at all. And yes, these rules come from the government.

  • @CartmanUK26 if it wasn't for capitalism how do you think those drugs your taken to heal you are funded to be made and produced, how do you think the technology to save your life is made?

  • @upinya25 That makes the incorrect assumption that money doesn't change hands in government run healthcare, it does, it has too, it is just done more fairly and with the actual people who need it in mind rather than company shareholders and directors.

  • @CartmanUK26 um still doesnt disprove my point, where do you think money comes from to produce drugs and the technology...capitalism.

  • @upinya25

Nonesense. The Uk is a socialist country yet under their socialist model they also produce drugs and technology. So your theory is debunked. You are only basing it on America. Name one other country that is Capitalist.

    You won't find any.

  • half of all healthcare expense comes from the government. it is that half that is broken. capitalism is the solution to all economic problems. Obamacare doubles down on the broken system and pushes out real reforms.

  • What about the self employed who claim they are too poor to buy health insurance, then apply for state funded programs?

  • You talk a lot about money. I think you are overly focused on it. Perhaps your life$tyle would change a bit if you had universal health care? This shouldn't be a consideration. Human life can't be attributed a cash value. You also refer a lot to elective surgical procedures. A great many people can't afford to get the best NECESSARY surgical procedures. Everyone should get the best medial attention when it's necessary. No one should settle for less because they can't afford it or aren't covered

  • @vantagestudios

Government is the problem. Government is what has made healthcare unaffordable and inaccessible. Capitalism (freedom) is the solution to all economic problems and all healthcare problems. Government only makes the problems worse.

  • @herbs814 Stating capitalism = freedom is at best incorrect at worst delusional! Capitalism in healthcare amounts to the opposite of freedom for people who are suffering because of it.

  • @CartmanUK26

No capitalism is always freedom. Capitalism is always good.

    All suffering comes from socialism.

    All virtue comes from capitalism.

Capitalism is responsible for everything that works well.

Socialism is responsible for everything that fails.

Capitalism is 100% good and needs no compromise.

  • @herbs814 I am afraid you are delusional, clinging to something despite it obviously not working! You are sadly wrong and can be proven to be wrong by data from countries who have a superior healthcare system where access to health is universal.

  • @CartmanUK26

There is nothing superior to capitalism. Capitalism is perfect. Everything else is inferior.

  • @CartmanUK26

Capitalism is what works. Government intrusion is what does not work.

The problem is government interference. The solution is capitalism.

Access to healthcare IS universal. You just have to honest enough to pay for it (capitalism) rather than STEAL it (socialism).

Get it? Capitalism is moral. Socialism is EVIL.

  • @herbs814 That is as it should be, anyone who would claim otherwise is evil, to watch someone suffer and possibly die because they can't pay for treatment is the definition if evil. Doctors take an oath to do no harm or through inaction allow harm to occur, the current healthcare system makes this oath impossible to uphold, therefore the system is wrong, there is no counter argument to this!

  • @CartmanUK26

It is the government that causes people to suffer. All suffering comes from government. All compassion comes from capitalism. All improvements in our standard of living come from capitalism.

Capitalism is responsible for everything that is right with healthcare.

Government intrusion is responsible for everything that is wrong.

  • that sounds a whole hell of a lot better than government health care!!! Government FORCED healcare is unconstitutional! Well hell, everything the government is doing now a days is unconstitutional!

  • @wheelori814 Oh what a shame... I am sick and they are forcing me to be well... FORCED healthcare? are you kidding? It is the availability... or lack of it that is at issue! If the constitution is causing millions of people to go without critical medical care then I would say it is the constitution that is at fault nothing else!

  • @CartmanUK26 you will see in several years why the healthcare they are forcing upon us will not work! We should have, and always should have a CHOICE if we want it or not. And depending on your age, if it hasnt changed in 20 years, then you will really see (if you watch it). If you are sick, you should know how to get well, not given pharmacueticals to treat the symptoms! They wont teach you how to get well, cuz then they wont make any money moron!

  • @CartmanUK26 what you arent seeing is that bit by bit we are getting all our rights taken away from us, seems you like living in a fascist country!

  • @CartmanUK26

Government is the cause of all healthcare problems. Obamacare only makes all healthcare problems WORSE. Capitalism is always the answer. Government is always the problem.

  • @herbs814 Wrong again unfortunately, the biggest problem is that delusional people such as yourself who have no real understanding of things have prevented the government from doing enough. People with the money don't care about the people without it who are dying as long as their wallets are okay and the people in the middle listen to the people at the top and take their word for how things should work, it is those at the bottom who suffer the most and should not be forced to do so!

  • @CartmanUK26

People who EARN the money should be not be ROBBED by evil scum like you who claim they have the "right" to STEAL from them. Government healthcare is completely and absolutely EVIL.

  • @CartmanUK26 First off. ok so how did "The People prevent" government from distributing water in the Katrina incident??? What exactly did the people do to prevent help from reaching the victims? Hect what exactly did FEMA do for you that makes you so blindly support them?

It was not fema nor any government agency which brought relief to the victims. The charitable PEOPLE organizations did far MORE than any government agency

Governments really can't do much about social problems-

  • @swu880 Governments are only bureaucracies & can only subsidize, regulate & impose regulations & restrictions. That is about the extent of their 'help'. But in terms of CONTROL, the government has unconstitutionally regulated & forced numerous programs & agendas on people.

ie. The government program social security is a huge fraud as Milton Friedman has pointed out. It is a scam in every sense of the word. And i encourage those interested in real facts & logic to look @ friedman's statements

  • Good Point!

  • You seriously need more exposure.
