Having worked with former members of BadFinger, In my eyes, they could do no wrong. This is a GREAT CLASSIC ROCK SONG, Written by a VASTLY UNDERATED CLLASSIC ROCK BAND! God Bless Peter, Tommy and Mike!!! May you all finally rest in peace.
..just nice to see and hear this, but sadly,at this point,Badfinger never got the credit that they really deserved..just love the "Airwaves" album...and the last album, before Tom Evans took his own life..like Pete Ham..""Say No More"(81)...in our hearts, guys!!!
I think I saw Badfinger at a Beatlefest show, or something like that in 1979. At the time, I didn't realize that one of my musical heroes was on keys. I finally met Tony Kaye (in person) recently after the Circa: show, having missed him so many times from 90125 to Talk (Yes). Tony is a real performer, despite his self-stated limitations with synths. I believe his best work ever was on The Yes Album. Thanks for posting!
Too bad all of Tony's gear ended up being stolen around this time! He did some great things throughout the 70s and 80s. Tommy is genuinely the "guts" like "OMarcus..." says.
