the next digimon generation starting from 4 is forever sucks like never-grow-ash-from powkeymon. Sometimes , i think the old anime is much better than the present :(

Season 1 is just awesome. Nothing can go wrong with it.

Season 2? Well, it's pretty debatable on its likability, while some like myself like it for continuing the story, others have their own problems.

But all in all I love it. Season 1 and 2 (And later 3) are probably my favorite shows in the franchise.

@KistIndigo but it was quite obvious Hikari was the 8th digidestined, just look at the end of episode 21 when Koromon came to Tokyo, at the very end there is a digivice shining in Tai's house. Plus, in the same episode, how did she knew about Koromon? it fit perfectly that Hikari was a chosen child. Epic ending BTW!

@Kahran042 actually, it spoils even before this ending. at the end of the episode after when they suck etemon into a black hole, they say 'Little did she know that she would soon be in the digimon world' and shows a picture of her digivice. that turns the whole 'who is the eighth child?' boring because they already tell you. yeah, I'm a nerd. live with it. but, that doesn't distract me from the awesome poppy nice song! Luckily there was digimon when i was a kid. Those days we have pokemon, digimon, power ranger original(season 1), monster rancher. Kids nowadays only have Ben 10 and some crappy mashed up version of power ranger...
