  • Poor baby!! She's gorgeous!!

  • What a cutie!!!!!

  • thanks

  • Never seen an all white border collie before. She's gorgeous! And bless you for taking in an "imperfect" pet and learning from her. I'm sure she's taught you a lot about tolerance, love, and perseverence. I have a deaf white cat (not blind), who was surrendered 3 times because he wasn't perfect. Well, he IS perfect. He just wasn't good enough for 3 other people.

  • People like you are literally the reason i believe there is hope for the world. Extending your heart, home, time and hard work to a precious creature that many do not think deserve a chance at life.. thank you for being such wonderful, compassionate people.

  • This is what happens when criminal breeders combine merle to merle. 25 % of the puppies are homozygous merles.

  • Beautiful. Thanks for saving his life. Jehovah God is smiling down on you. Thanks! :)

  • What a beautiful dog! Thank you for giving him a chance at life. He and his brother look so very happy together!

  • You guys rock what a great dog and thank goodness for water proof mascara!!!

  • This disorder is caused by breeding 2 merle BC's

  • What a beautiful dog,

I've got a Stable border collie called storm.

  • This happens sometimes in austrailian shepherds as well. We call it a leathal white because 9 times out of ten the dog is deaf, blind, and has serious health deformities. most are euthenized before they can suffer. It is very preventable as this can only happen when a breeder breeds a merle to a merle. this causes the ressesive gene's to double up and produce a leathal white. Unfortunantly some breeders are irrisponsible or simply do not know from lack of education. Thumbs up to you 4 saving him

  • WONDERFUL!

  • What wonderful people to take on and love such a wonderful dog. It brought tears to my eyes, especially when you see how unkind some people are to our animals that we share our planet with

  • Awww such a beautiful dog, I would so hug your dog. Such a cutie.

  • Very touching! We have a rescue border collie. She was abused and used to be scared of EVERYTHING. We've had her about 14 months now and she's been a great addition to our family! She's still afraid of loud noises and the camera!

  • My mother was a breeder and right before she passed we had a litter of pups, the runt was born deaf and he is the love of my life, the best and most loyal border collie I've ever owned, hes very intelligent and has many many hand signals we use on a daily basis,, I'm really happy to see this vid, I wasn't sure what came of others out there, it makes me very happy to see that this dog is loved and cared for just like my own, it takes a special person, i thank you.

Beautiful dog ... I also have a collie Albino but with more hair and blue eyes :D I will care much for ever and ever ..

  • What a cutie.. I also Adopted a 3 year old White, Deaf , BC.. her eyes work but shes got a degenerative Retina disorder and she will be blind one day.. but for now she sees good.. enough to make her stare out of a window for hours at a time...lol she is an awesome dog, even with her "Faults" (startle response, over protective with us and the home, she'd rather fight than take flight in a situation where shes confronted with aggression... ) I love her to death!!

  • I adopted a blind and deaf Aussie 8 years ago. He's still such a good boy! Glad others are willing to help these specials pups :)

  • He looks so much like my dog :) Almost identical. I just adopted her this summer. She's a border collie mix, all white like Bing with a pink nose, bright eyes, and even a black spot on her behind like him :) She is also deaf and partially blind.

  • If you're loved in this world, that's all that matters and it makes my heart soar to see how much love you have to give.

  • We have Deaf Red Merle Border Collie. Good on you for taking him.
