@leonicle I was actually thinking that. That would've been my very first guess. Just like brimstone juju raises attack power and the dance begins with the attack song, I was imagining that being defence. But thank you for clarifying. :)

iv got a question. when the fever is on and the skull comes up, what thes that mean?

You don't know? I thought the game and the trailers for patapon 2 made it pretty clear. Ya see in the first game they were very strict about the fever rhythm. If mess up a little bit the whole fever is shot and survival and fever go hand in hand in patapon. To make up for this, they created the skull so if you mess up once and it was small they will let it pass but warn you(Hence skull and sound). It works but if you ask me it seems more sensitive than the patapon one version.

I don't remember them having a specific name in particular but they were demons from the underworld one of them named dark one used to be a an actual person but sold his sold(I if you played patapon 1 you might have a good idea on who he is.) The last game had demon soldiers but they hard to distinguish from normal soldiers who just sold there soul.
