i dont know im using cios & usbloader but i know that your can boot from a dvd (install the new firmware) with a modchip. but modchips cant get installed in the new wii´s.better ask google ;)

if it just shows up the matrix picture and nothin more happens then you installed the wrong theme ;)
there is NTSC andf PAL if you install the wrong one , you have a brick.
do you have installed bootmii or preloader? if not it will be very difficult to unbrick your wii.

Is the NTSC work for the japanese wii? I mean there is both NTSC-U and NTSC-J. If not, can you make one for the jap?
