  • where did you download it

  • Comment removed

  • Did your keys set up like asdf (spacebar) jkl; ?

just wondering, I'm thinking about playing it with 8 fingers and a thumb as a spacebar.

  • I Can Only Play In 5 Button Mode But I Want To Play In 9 Button Mode(No Problem On Ps2 But PC) .May I Know Your Keyboard Configuration Setting ?

  • wow

it is great, and you are very skilled

    downloading the program now

is your keyboard alive now btw?))

  • dang, this is cool. nvr heard of th game tho.

  • where did u get pop N music for pc?? plz tell me

  • yes i would like to no also :)

  • Very appropriate for the final stage, both in terms of the theme, and the difficulty. Maybe too much so for the difficulty.

A very nice job designing and playing this stage.

  • Have you heard of a game called Feeling Pomu? I've made a chart that's harder than this on it.

  • yeah FP is a better simulator since you can assign a sound to the keys unlike stepmania but it's a lot more difficult to create files :p

Anyway, my goal was not difficulty, I just wanted something fun to play that would "feel" somehow similar to the feeling you have when you play it on a piano.

But if challenge is what you're after, I'll just say hmm at least, I have played it myself, on keyboard, and recorded it successfully, do the same with yours and post it then we can talk xD

  • I'm kidding of course, but you can still do it :P

Btw, I did one that is a lot more difficult, it's another transcription of a famous classical piece I just happened to record (on piano) last month (chopin winter wind etude), I also posted it (the piano version) in case you'd be interested ^^

  • I am very interested. And on that note, I'm looking for a screen recorder. XD

Also, I think keysounds actually make designing bms easier, because you can use them as placeholders and marks for timing. An off note would be easier to track, for instance.

  • Cool!

  • where did you get that game

  • my email

  • do you still have the simfile?

  • yes but I don't know how to send it to you :p

    (over 10mb)

  • How can this work on an emulator? Do you need a Midi keyboard or something?

    Please explain!

  • wat system is this game for? or is it only on arcade.

  • it's originally for arcade, but there has been an adaptation for dreamcast and then for PS2 and yet again for PC with this emulator you can see on the vid

  • This isn't a very good interpretation. I'm talking about Kempff's interpretation. Check out Valentina Lisitsa's interpretation.

  • you compare kempff's interpretation to lisitsa's???

i think she is a lot flatter and less interesting than kempff! the man was sheer genius!

  • Kempff plays the Appassionata too slowly and flatly! It doesn't sound passionate at all!

  • If you dont play piano, but want to know what is like, imagine: you are playing this game, but instead of having two hands to nail all those buttons flying by, you are doing it ONE HANDED, while the OTHER HAND is playing the same game, slightly out of synch with the first game - also, you are CAREFULLY AND CONCIOUSLY REGULATING THE PRESSURE OF EACH FINGER ON EACH KEY. And a rich and difficult-to-impress crowd is watching you, waiting to catch you in a mistake. God, I love pianists.

  • I played that pieces a few years ago but you're right it's quite tricky and the slightest mistake is a disaster xD

If you like piano that much, maybe you can check out my other (piano) vids :P

  • yes that's one of the few songs I created :)

Hmmm I probably still have the files somewhere on my HD, if I find them I'll upload them and send you a link via pm

  • >Anyway, I had fun again creating and playing

    >that awesome Beethoven sonata that I truely

    >adore ^^

    >I hope you guys will enjoy!

    o.O

    you made it yourself?

    can i download it anywhere?

    i mean that song+stepfile

    pop'n'music i have myself o.o

i really would be happy to play this file one time o.O

  • i have had interest of learning this game and win all and everyone in the world for a long time but, im too busy doing same thing at the pokemon-tcg. so i'll let you go this time.

  • thanks xD

  • Wow, that looks like a nice chart to play on the Controller, nice job!

    -Mikeymike360

  • That.

    Was.

    Amazing.

    <3

  • Pop'n Music :P

  • wat game is dis?

  • Where can I find this program?

  • not sure where, try asking on a dedicated forum such as Benamistyle

    [hlink] benamistyle*DOT*com

From what I can remember, there were 2 main PnM simulators: Step'n Music (the one I used to play and to created bms's) and Feeling Pomu which was the best emulator since it you could actually assign sounds to the keys but a lot more painful to use and set since it's all exclusively in japanese and there's quite a bit to setup... anyway, that's all I remember, hope it helped ^^

  • It did.

  • all those scales are actually a lot easier on keyboard than on the real arcade, way easier since the keys are so near from each other ^^

  • WHA you're so good! that's astonishing and you did that on keyboard? that's awesome *-* step'n music rockz!
