I know. I wish Buffalo had more ska shows. there's no shortage of whiney emo bands that call themselves "Hardcore" but there's barely any good ska bands in Buff.

Also, I totally agree with you about the diversity of the people I see at the shows. I would expect to see my friends (stoners and skateboarders) but i also see some of the preppier kids from my school, and I must say, seeing them there has sparked some interesting conversation with people i didnt think I had any relation too.

they don't really sound like ska, but I would say that they are definitely ska-influenced, and are definitely an influence to the modern ska bands I see today.

I would also say that they still fall under the umbrella of "Ska Punk", but it's harder to see because they tend to be more metallic sounding and don't really have a brass section.
