cool bike, so your talking about torque difference after swapping baffles in the v&h, do the stock v&h pipes, the short shots lose torqe when replacing the stock pipes, i just bought a 2011, im just waiting for a warm day to pick it up

how loud are your pipes? Do you have baffles? I know this video does it no justice

I took out the V&H Baffles and replaced them with BigCity Thunder Baffles since this video - way louder now with a nice little increase in torque. As she sits now it's about as loud as a harley 96ci can be without motor work.

I love the silver cases.. looks like an old school bike that way.. I just cancelled a 2010 bike, and found a 2009 one just for that.

If I may ask, what's your inseam? That of course being a seat-to-controls comfort question. At 6' 5" too many bikes simply don't fit, but I do like the Street Bob and like it's price point even more.

I just got an 09 streetbob and I love it, but I do want to powdercoat the engine black like the 08 model but other than that great bike!

nice bike, the street bob is probably my favourite dyna. however i like the 08 more than the new one. the new rear fender doesnt do it for me, looks kinda weird and what happend to the transmission? they ran out of black? the satin/plain finish should make it cheaper. every bike with black is more expensive. do many people like the new streetbob as much as the older ones?

To be honest, I wanted for the 09 because I didn't like the 08 at all. I really prefer the internally wired bars, chopped fender, and black laced wheels. The black casing is would be fine but I like the contrast of the blonde casing.

I reckon mid controls give you better balance and control through the twisties.For cruizing all ya gotta do is put on highway pegs.

The only problem I would have in buying something this beautiful is getting it wet and muddy on the backroads where I live.Yeah I know...I'm a wuss.But my R1100Rt is getting all old and oily so if I sell some guitars and stuff....hhmmmmmm..

This is a sweet looking bike man. I am used to riding sport bikes but lately, I am seriously considering a Harley.

Street Bob has this "basic" and "old school" look to it, it's really nice.

I'm no tech but my understanding is that the B is a rigid mount motor - less vibration and a little less hp. The A is rubber mounted - more vibration and a little more hp

The 96B is a internal balanced engine and the plain 96 is a rubber mounted engine.

I had a fuel pak on the Nightster I traded in last week. Too much backfiring for my liking. The mechs could never get it to totally stop. When I go to Stage 1 on my new STREET BOB that I got last Tuesday, I will do a race tuner of some other brand.

Ok i got the forwards from hd. I find my self curling my foot to get to the brake, now that I have the Screamin Eagle filter it really needs the extinsions. Thanks for the reply!!

I also have the forwards on my 09 Street bob and have to pigeon toe my foot to get the gear shift and rear break. I was going to go with the SE aircleaner until I sat on one with forwards and kept smushing the aircleaner with my leg. I'm 6'1 with fairly long legs so I'm also thinking of going with the extensions as well. Or getting the levers extended

Stree Bob. It's more my style (black and bare) and it is cheaper which helps.
