  • I finished this game once but i have never seen the mirage palace???? WTF. Could it mean that it depends what characters you choose in the beginning??

  • @jnoelpb87 yea I think if u choose Kevin, and Charlie for the first character, then your final area is the Mirage Palace

  • @TheRealKoops I don't know. Maybe the masked mage (final boss) likes blood.

  • What's that weird red liquid?

  • @TheRealKoops Blood

  • The Bishop would have made a far better choice for this dungeon, simply because of Turn Undead, and how it can instantly kill about 3/4 of the enemies here...though I doubt it would help at your level.

  • @JanusHoW I was playing for fun, not for strategy. I was also testing the recording function of the emulator at the same time.

  • Those Necromancer's heal way too much.

  • This was my favourite part of Seiken Densetsu 3, the Palace of Darkness and the Glass Desert just weren't as cool as this place!

  • @BriAuron yea I fully agree

  • @BriAuron I agree as well. This story, setting, and villain felt more sinister and diabolically evil than the other two.

  • @Cjmaverick77 I loved the atmosphere, something just felt 'wrong' about the Mirage Palace. That & the fact that 'Ancient Dolphin' isn't heard anywhere else in the game makes this a very unique part of SD3. Damn, I wanna play again now!

  • @BriAuron Once again, I agree. The skulls, blood pools, and 'Ancient Dolphin' really set the 'death' emphasized tone perfectly for the (tragic) villain, the Masked Mage - a felled former holy man who sadly, succumbed to the evil of black magic.
