There is no noise abatement act against that airport here in Jamaica. That takeoff is standar procedure for a North bound flight. When I was flying on a flight from Montego Bay to Kingston the continued towards that direction for about 5 minutes or so in that Easterly direction.
@allgripNnoslipN The dirt on the Continental is from the jetways. Commercial aircraft are usually painted every 5 years or so and this plane looks like it's at the tail end of it.. I can assure you that any required maintenance is being performed before every flight. The captain always has more authority than anyone in the company the second he steps into the cockpit. He would not leave the gate if that plane was not air worthy.
Wow these airline companies really need to get a pressure washer and clean those planes that continental looks all dirty and old and discolored also when planes are dirty with years of dirt it affects the aerodinamics of a plane and disrupts the flow of wind over the body. And that pilot flying the westjet was a little quick there you just got airborn and hes already making a steep bank to the left thats not good and it also makes passengers feel uncomfortable.
@danielc365 Noise abatement requires an immediate turn after takeoff. A lot of procedures that you think may be uncomfortable for the passengers actually has a perfectly logical reason. You won't want a pilot to fly into a mountain at the end of a runway rather than make an immediate turn after takeoff just for passenger comfort would you...lol. Just an example.
@danielc365 Normal flying conditions. Planes often bank immediatly after takeoff to avoid residential zone noise abatements and follow departure paths. While dirt can affect the aerodynamics of a plane (hardly) it would be more expensive for them to pressure wash or paint the planes a few times a year then the extra fuel they burn.

@clutchem Yeah, noise abatement as in the noise a 737 makes when it hits the mountain....

@Ryan198416 As a pilot 100% throttle and low banking after takeoff would surely upset residents
