I've been exposed to the esoteric/occult 'world' for awhile now. After exploring the gnostic view of religion my believe in Jesus is bigger than before. I just think 95% of the believers use the name Jesus like a weapon.. pointing it at everyone without the knowing how to use it. Jesus was as a rebel to the spiritual system, his message has more to do with meditation n reaching God through self knowledge than censorship and plainly asking for divine enlightenment.

If you ever think your being messed with by demons you can either pray to make it stop or use confrontation. Confrontation is what I do because it also relieves the physical stress. It is true because I have had to focus my study on the development of bones in limbs. It is proven that many species share the same bones in hands, but have different uses and development of said limb. There is a MOUNTAIN of evidence supporting this theory. @yupyup1562 ps. great ape to human we share 98% genetic structure. Great apes have 48 chromosomes we have 46. The missing chromosome (it goes in pairs) can be found in human chromosome #2. It combined to make one chromosome and has since been discovered in genetic sequencing. As for fossils look at whales. The bones in the frontal fin match that of land animals and human hands for that matter. So there is both living and fossilized evidence of both.

Humans at this point is not evolving, or at least at a noticeable rate because we "fit" our environment. Evolution is stimulated by environmental change. What ever current set of genes/chromosomes/point in evolution is most fit will pass on there genetic traits. Those who survive the most and pass on the most are the next evolution. If predicting evolution is your question I can do that too. @yupyup1562 The reason for the larger beaks is because in drought the plant seeds that survive the longest on the Galapagos are the LARGER seeds. In one or two generations of finches the average chick is born with a LARGER beak to cope. Not because IT evolved, rather because statistically each of its parents survived to pass on its genetic code because they both had LARGER beaks. There are many different species of finches due to this environment change. Frequent change, quick breeding periods.

I personally find that joy and peace when I relay in Jesus giving him my burdens and resting in him. And instead make the commitment to do what is pleasant to him (his work, focus on other people's needs rather than my problems).

@LucisFerre1 There are many ways to be Christian. I have faith, but don't look forward to the process of being in this body as it dies. I have been to churches less than 10x in my life. Many Christians don't study a lot. God still covers many because he can see their hearts and intents, which you and I cannot. I have met horribly mean Christians and horribly mean other people too. They get what is coming to them. Faith waivers for most people I know. Not for me. God knows the drill.

I had other experiences like that. I didn't ask for them. I also am not used to churches, so I am not very experienced w/'The Word'. Do love to study and hear different perspectives. I've been exposed to the esoteric/occult 'world' for awhile now. After exploring the gnostic view of religion my believe in Jesus is bigger than before. I just think 95% of the believers use the name Jesus like a weapon.. pointing it at everyone without the knowing how to use it. Jesus was as a rebel to the spiritual system, his message has more to do with meditation n reaching God through self knowledge than censorship and plainly asking for divine enlightenment.

It combined to make one chromosome and has since been discovered in genetic sequencing. As for fossils look at whales. The bones in the frontal fin match that of land animals and human hands for that matter. So there is both living and fossilized evidence of both.

In one or two generations of finches the average chick is born with a LARGER beak to cope. Not because IT evolved, rather because statistically each of its parents survived to pass on its genetic code because they both had LARGER beaks. There are many different species of finches due to this environment change. Frequent change, quick breeding periods.

Then he is malevolent

@jontibloom Epirurus didn't seem to get that God did not give us life to take away our free will. Free will is a big part of what life is. I'll tell u what kind of people defy God by taking away a persons free will. Rapists and abusive dictators. Now that Epirurus is dead and had to answer to god I'm sure he would tell u something different.

go for your dreams, whatever God has put in your heart be confident and go for it,
don't listen to your doubting mind or doubting people, have faith you will succeed and that God will help you get the right breaks, meet the right people, be at the right place at the right time, do the right thing at the right time, if you make a mistake you'll either learn from it or it will steer you in the right direction, this is all you need

"Jesus" is a lie. That you know of a 'god' that cares about you, is a lie. You don't "belong" to anyone but yourself. If you're owned by anyone else, then you're a slave. Only cretins that seek to control you and own you would tell you that it's good to be a slave to ___(insert 'god' here__).

He promised only His revelations would be 100% correct 100% of the time. Pretty gutsy thing to put in print...lol. I am glad to believe His word. That's just ONE thing he put out on the table for us to give us faith. I was surprised how many times people who met Jesus seemed to need more than one miracle or confirmation of proof. I take care of people as their bodies die. I learned a lot about what matters from that. It's not hard to imagine death, but many don't even think of it. Dangerous.

@LucisFerre1 There are many ways to be Christian. I have faith, but don't look forward to the process of being in this body as it dies. I have been to churches less than 10x in my life. Many Christians don't study a lot. God still covers many because he can see their hearts and intents, which you and I cannot. I have met horribly mean Christians and horribly mean other people too. They get what is coming to them. Faith waivers for most people I know. Not for me. God knows the drill.

@ArgotMay, If 'god' does something physical in our physical universe, sometimes in response to prayer, then this would fall within the purview of the physical sciences. The effects of divine intervention would be detectable either directly or indirectly. If, on the other hand, he only works in mysterious ways inside people's heads, then "god" is indistinguishable from a delusion. Delusions demonstrably exist, we can even prompt them. Yet, no one can show me 'god'.

@LucisFerre1 Oh...O.K. Well, for me, I did experience God healing someone, and my hands were the ones He used. I didn't expect it at all. I was massaging a paralyzed man's feet. I had other experiences like that. I didn't ask for them. I also am not used to churches, so I am not very experienced w/'The Word'. Do love to study and hear different perspectives. I believe God is as much in some non-believers' lives as believers.

John 8 talks about men asking if he's saying that he's 'god', he responded no, that it takes two people to witness under the mosaic law. He then asked them why don't they understand his words. He spouted the nonsense you mentioned, and again they assumed he meant that he was 'god', something that Jesus already said was false. @ceovp, You "understand" 'god' because you ARE 'god'. There are tens of thousands of Christian denominations world wide, each with their interpretation of roughly the same limited scripture, & each member "knows" what 'god' thinks & wants, even if one is a Catholic, another is a member of the Heaven's Gate Cult & another is a Calvinist. "god" can read your mind because he's a projection of an ego state. This is why when I don't accept people's idea of 'god' they usually act personally rejected.

He also teaches that we need to get on your knees and beg forgiveness for acting on the human nature instilled in us by our creator. He also teaches that you need 'god' to be efficacious. He still teaches the horrible values of Jesus, that you should not "toil" but rather be like birds and lilies, dependent upon divine providence like children.

@ceovp It is entirely possible that Satan could read the symbols of God's revelation to the Jews and in anticipation, constructed (yet another) false religion using counterfeit elements. I expect Satan is quite familiar with God, having lived in His presence before he rebelled.
