Hey how much would a donkey kong jungle green console with matching controller be in like new condition with the origional donkey kong box be? I have one!
@Will18elmo He is a great seller for sure. I bought mine in the past so it would be tough to see where I buy them now. N64 controllers I bought from anywhere and everywhere but my Gamecube controllers are mostly from luick :)
@stathar I can assure you that they are - I do have the packaging for the majority of them but the sealed one should be a complete obvious tell that they are in fact official.
Do you know if you can get a good replacement joystick anywhere on the internet.. Amazon has one that has good reviews (gamecube style) but apparently falls short if you are playing super smash bros. Which is a must have in my department. I though you might be a guy in the know. Thanks alot
@Desouza025 Great question. I have not purchased the replacement joysticks before but members of N64 Forever (search that in google) have. The forum is called z9zetaboards or something when you search "N64 Forever" in google - then just use the search function to find replacement joystick discussions. If you have any problems PM me. Sorry I couldnt be of more assistance!
Hey lithium I have another question for you about N64 controllers. I recently purchased a complete in box yellow N64 controller but was wondering: how can one tell the differences between the boxes of a North American, PAL and Australian N64 controller?
when i bought my n64 at a yard sale it came with 20 games and a light green and a light purple controllers and with all that for 50 bucks i thought it was preety good
And that's the problem. You guys are SOOOOO MUCH SPECIAL that need 10 of the same controllers of the same collors, just to collect. Now when we want one,we can't have, because a red controller in EBay cost half the price of my life.
Please don't stop beign SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH SPECIAL.
@AKittyBox You read the comment?I said RED CONTROLLER.
And now you say "Oh but you don't need a red controller you're just beign dramatic",yeah i don't need but i want a red controller, and he want's too but because of a crazy collector he needs all of the world.
dude you're a winner. do you still have any left you would be willing to sell? like I'll ask about them all cause its not like I want a SUPER specific or special one, although that would be nice XD. I actually have my own see through grape which I have always simply called purple until now XP that was my first controller(along with the gray, I actually started with two controllers at age 5 and never got another single controller, lucky me XD)and might have actually come with my N64.
Yes, this is hoarding. People buy these up in bulk so that when I need one... to actually USE, there are only a few left on ebay and they cost a fortune. Dude, you're an asshole.
@0incorporeal I find your remark quite funny considering there are roughly 1500 N64 controllers available on ebay. "Only a few left on ebay and they cost a fortune" is simply nonsense as if you are looking for a common one then they sell for under $10 each.
@0incorporeal Only a few rare ones, like Millenium 2000, Donkey Kong, Nintendo Power Gold, E3, but there are TONS of regular controllers! Your the asshole if you think someone dosen't have the right to buy as many video game controllers as they want! Its not hoarding as he clearly states he is getting rid of most of them and just wanted to get 64 controllers just for the fun of it!
dude, for fucks sake give me and sum people that need n64 controllers sum. how am i suppose to kill pikachu in smash brothers or blj in mario 64 or mod the clear ones with lights if i have none. ._.
@lithium017 i have a question, where did you get those millenium 2000 controllers? i assume thats what 2 of the 4 controllers at the top are, don't know what the other 2 are i think they're the gold ones, but aren't those ones at the corner also gold?
@supercrapnstuff11 The 2 gold ones at the top are the Nintendo Power 100 controllers. I got the Millennium 2000 controllers from people on forums I believe. I am not selling any controllers at this time and I did find the majority of my items on ebay and on kijiji (which is popular in Canada). I would suggest looking into the 'Nintendo 64 Forever' forum (just search it in google) as there are many helpful individuals there, some who are selling items too.
@lithium017 no but if i have one question, where do you think the best place to get n64 collectables is? because while i was just a little too young (97) to fully enjoy the n64, it is still my favorite nintendo console to date, and im not impressed with my 9 game, 1 game box, and 1 yellow controller box, collection, what i want to do is something similar to you but less emphasis on the controlls, can you tell me were you found your things mostly? ebay?
Some people call it collecting , but I call it hoarding . ALL the NES, SNES ,DS, NES64, Gamecube, PS, PS2,PS3, PSP, XBOX, Atari, AND MORE ROMS can be downloaded for free. This means you can save space , and put them all on an external hard.
@maw88ify Part of playing retro games is playing the original copy of the game on the actual console with the real controller. This is all part of the charm of video games and why there is still a market for used games even though obtaining the games illegally is easy
@lithium017 You can just get usb controller the look the same. I've ever seen people change old controls into usb to be used with computer emulators . ebay " Super Nintendo USB PC Gamepad Joypad Controller" $19.99 "Supports Windows 7 (32/64-bit), Vista (32/64-bit), XP, 2000, ME or Later."... They have usb controllers for all of them, and think of the space I save . Ebay "New NES Retro PC USB Controller" $15.95. PS No need to blow a NES cartridge !!!
@WoefZegtAap A girl named Mel showed how to make a wall out of the controllers. I personally rather just keep them in their boxes but it is a neat idea!
just wondering if you have a pikachu nintendo 64 to go with it? i saw one at a local shop over here in australia, it had a pikachu embossed on the top of the console and it was slimline i think, looked awesome :D
@XxcoomiekidxX Yes I have the 4 different Pokemon consoles released worldwide, one of which is an Australian exclusive. My video "The Collection of N64 Consoles" displays them :)
WOW that's the most n64 controllers I have seen in one place do you have more than 64 now, I have only 3 myself all unboxed, grey, red and clear competition pro
That's a phenomenal collection you have there. I'm building an N64 collection as well but it's so difficult to find official N64 controllers now for a decent price, especially ones that have tight joysticks and even more so ones that come with their original boxes as the price on ebay is usually fairly high for a single controller, particularly for ones from the funtastic series. Are there any tips you could offer regarding N64 collecting specifically?
@JSCG12 I would suggest trying to find the funtastic controllers locally in either retro game stores or in thrift stores (or on craigslist). Those funtastics did not come in a box in North America so finding them loose makes sense
@lithium017 Thanks for the tip. Yeah regarding the boxed controllers I was referring to the solid coloured ones. I don't want to spend the amount of money it would cost to get the funtastic controllers in their blister packaging especially considering how hard they are to find in the first place. If I came across a boxed North American N64 controller on ebay what would you say is a fair price to pay for it?
@JSCG12 For the 6 solid colors I would not pay more than $20 for them. It may seem tough to find them at this price (even on ebay) but if you are patient and persistent in searching, you should be able to get them at that price. The extreme green is generally the most expensive of the North American boxes (I would go as high as $30 for one). I might be inclined to pay slightly higher for very good condition packaging, instructions and joysticks, but never more than $30 each.
@year20xxgamer I think that may be a little low for one in good shape. The DK controller's banana tips can fade too so if you are looking for one I would make sure the tips are good too and I would pay up to $50 for one that has a good joystick, tips, and is clean.
@lithium017 I appriciate your response, I will be sure to check the tips on the controller before I buy. I am also a collector so I only buy things in like new condition, and will try to get one for under $50. Thanks again!
@OnTheTuub Unfortunately I do not have those ones for sale. I occasionally post my items on ebay under the same seller name: Lithium017. I know of many collectors looking for the Millennium controller and this is driving the cost upwards to $250 for it so I might wait a while (if you can)
I'm trying to get everyone; i have a solid yellow; grey; and green; and i have the see-through green; blue; and purple. I MIGHT buy a couple from you after i buy my portanle n64; depending on how much i have lefttttt.
@rawdog268 Try selling them on ebay or on kijiji :P They go for $20 a piece when the joystick is tight the the collectible ones go for much, much more than that
@lithium017 but the big question is ,Why? Who in their right mind buys controllers, even ones you think are pretty, for a dead system not to mention a system that was the worst out of all the nintendo systems to date minus the virtual nintendo of course. And i think its funny you never defended yourself on the "never have touched a boob before"comment, lol.I see a garbage can full of dusty N64 controlers in your future.
@rawdog268 Thanks for watching and commenting a few times. My controllers are in excellent condition and are actually quite valuable with the original packaging (not shown in this video). I could easily sell each and every one of them for $20 each and upwards to $250 for some of the rarer ones (and I have offers nearly every day). As to your comment about touching a woman, my most recent video I made with my girlfriend about unboxing a Mario Chess Set she bought me if you wanted to take a look
@monculouais Too funny! My girlfriend always teases me that she is going to make an account and dislike everything I do but she is a fan in the end anyways. Curious to know what my ex would think of these videos. Hmm... :P
@farmerjhon1234 Thanks! And I would not say that is true entirely but collector's usually do raise prices. Just search ebay now for the "Hello Mac Controller" and you will be amazed at how much a single controller for the N64 is selling for.
you miss the orange pikachu,hello mack,geoffrey,daiae hawks,gold n logo,jusco 30th anniversary,clear blue,clear red,hope you find them,i'm searchin 2.
@RUSTY4306 Actually the daiei hawks, clear red, clear blue, and jusco are all in this video. I guess you missed them. Also, I have found the Pikachu orange and the Gold E3 N logo since posting this video. The only 2 left are those stupid sticker controller exclusives (Hello Mac and Geoffrey). Furthermore, watch your spelling of them because if you search for the incorrect spelling, you won't likely find any of them.

@lithium017 I appriciate your response, I will be sure to check the tips on the controller before I buy. I am also a collector so I only buy things in like new condition, and will try to get one for under $50. Thanks again!

Do you still have one of the Millennium 2000 controllers and a plain black one? If so, how much for both?
OnTheTuub 1 month ago
@OnTheTuub Unfortunately I do not have those ones for sale. I occasionally post my items on ebay under the same seller name: Lithium017. I know of many collectors looking for the Millennium controller and this is driving the cost upwards to $250 for it so I might wait a while (if you can)
lithium017 1 month ago
Ooh, I have an Atomic Purple controller. 'Cept it don't go with the black Nintendo 64, my purple and my gold one both died :(
OnTheTuub 1 month ago
I'm trying to get everyone; i have a solid yellow; grey; and green; and i have the see-through green; blue; and purple. I MIGHT buy a couple from you after i buy my portanle n64; depending on how much i have lefttttt.

rawdog268 1 month ago
why? they arent worth anything, try selling them at gamestop
rawdog268 1 month ago
@rawdog268 Try selling them on ebay or on kijiji :P They go for $20 a piece when the joystick is tight the the collectible ones go for much, much more than that
lithium017 1 month ago
@lithium017 but the big question is ,Why? Who in their right mind buys controllers, even ones you think are pretty, for a dead system not to mention a system that was the worst out of all the nintendo systems to date minus the virtual nintendo of course. And i think its funny you never defended yourself on the "never have touched a boob before"comment, lol.I see a garbage can full of dusty N64 controlers in your future.
rawdog268 1 month ago
@lithium017 most of those go for 3 bucks a pop at gamestop, was just there.
rawdog268 1 month ago
@lithium017 and by the way they arent worth a dime if you cant sell them, good luck
rawdog268 1 month ago

Hmm... :P

Your the reason N64 controllers cost so much nowadays >^-^< Nice collection though
farmerjhon1234 2 months ago 14
@farmerjhon1234 Thanks! And I would not say that is true entirely but collector's usually do raise prices. Just search ebay now for the "Hello Mac Controller" and you will be amazed at how much a single controller for the N64 is selling for.
lithium017 2 months ago
@farmerjhon1234 Hahaha! That's a good one!

you miss the orange pikachu,hello mack,geoffrey,daiae hawks,gold n logo,jusco 30th anniversary,clear blue,clear red,hope you find them,i'm searchin 2.
RUSTY4306 2 months ago
@RUSTY4306 Actually the daiei hawks, clear red, clear blue, and jusco are all in this video. I guess you missed them. Also, I have found the Pikachu orange and the Gold E3 N logo since posting this video. The only 2 left are those stupid sticker controller exclusives (Hello Mac and Geoffrey). Furthermore, watch your spelling of them because if you search for the incorrect spelling, you won't likely find any of them.
lithium017 2 months ago
How much for 2, I am ready to buy! btw, I don't want the rare ones.
kaollasulover 2 months ago
@kaollasulover I am basically out of the controllers at this point. I will add a note to the video itself stating this. Sorry!
