We were in the group of death with England, Germany and were eliminated in the semifinals by a very polemic case against probably the best national team of 21th century - France with players like Zidane & Thierry Henry. After figo went out, Portugal can't reach the semifinals!

It was in Euro 2004 which was the best Portugal performance in competitions in spite of not reaching the finals. And AFTER figo left the team, Portugal can't reach the semifinals. Also, in the WC in Japan where we didn't pass the group stage, figo's physical condition wasn't good at all
