  • nice cartoon .

  • Extravagant/whimsical designs, expensive to build, high-visibility profile, no interior layouts, no clue on how an entry door would be mounted on to a pyramidal building. And before you go off on how I'm not qualified to make such assessments, I'm an Architect.

  • Not one picture of the interior, no floor plans, no proposed building material. Just a few pictures of the same thing just from nearer or farther away. Not even made on CAD software.

  • Unfortunately the only people who can afford to have these houses built are the ones who have created all the chaos in the world...ironic.

  • Now where did I put that extra $3,000,000.00 to build 1 of these ?

  • I like it. If only I had the money.

  • This screams i have a ton of food, clothing, gas etc... A town mob would be at your door in a matter of days with more ammo than any house could defend against. This is just begging to be destroyed by the desperate masses. Pretty cool looking though.

  • Really cool? How does the sphere stay upright when floating? Is the bottom section composed of thicker concrete than the top? Have done any small scale water experiments?

Anything curved made out of concrete is more expensive because it requires custom forms. A compound curve or a concave form would be extremely expensive. Shot-crete/ Shock-crete could be used but I don't know how that stuff really compares to poured concrete. It would be really cool to see these designs being built.

  • Hah watch you be the first to go. The mayan calendar doesnt mean anything is going to happen in any means the Calendar just simply stopped. Maybe they just got tired of writing and quit NOBODY knows.

  • I can't help but picture that round ball being swept off of its foundation by a big tsunami and bobbing around in water until it hits a big rock, cracks in half, and sinks to the bottom of the new imaginary ocean. LOL! News flash ... IF we ever had a global catastrophe, nobody is going to predict what, if any, region might be saved. Chain reaction would be the Universe declaring a "do over" with earth.

  • @DontFriendInviteMe You and the majority out there don't know much about a safe building and i would even say much about anything it seems!....if you have an intelligent comment, or valid criticism i would like to hear from you, otherwise don't make a fool of yourselves!!

  • @korvelo Lol ... I see that you have outstanding sales and people skills. haha

  • @korvelo You just said that I don't know much about "anything it seems" and "I'm" making a fool of myself? LOL!

None of these are valid homes for being "bunker safe" stop being silly.

  • @DontFriendInviteMe You and the majority out there don't know much about a safe building, don't understand it's purpose and i would even say, you don't know much about anything it seems!....if you have an intelligent comment, or valid criticism i would like to hear from you, otherwise don't make a fool of yourselves!!

  • @DontFriendInviteMe I agree with u!

  • @TheKILLAHUNT Nothing is going to happen in 2012? What about the mayan calendar/bluebeam-bilderburgh-alien grey-NWO-planet collision course with the reptilians! HA! *puts on tinfoil hat and orders a pyramid building*

  • ಠ_ಠ ... ask Mubarak how well bunkers work when someone really wants in. Modern structures, yes. Survival structures, c'mon.

  • build one of those and it is a target straight off. They look like they need blowing up. Someone must be hiding something important in that.

  • Where is that murder holes aka gun turrets? Did not have moat and draw bridge, so I give this a 3.5 out of 10.

  • lol @ hummer

  • Looks awesome

  • probably good agaist a hurrycane.... and maybe also an earthquake.... but a tornado..... im not sure... and what goes for war, it would proably survive machineguns, but not a misile war... then it would be better to be underground to aviod blasts of fire and pressure from the misiledetonations. Then it would only have to be strong enough to hold the shockwaves thats travels through the earth when it absorbes the energy released by the misile.

  • lame and impractical, thats what they said about Fallingwater....

  • this is muppetry

  • silly houses

  • So what happens when it's under 300' of water? Or a sinkhole swallows it?

  • @korvelo so explain to me how you are going to store that much fuel for 7 years?

  • your design is a big sign ...loot me...hummer lol great gas mileage in the wasteland

  • This year is very speical , it's encoded in the pyramid ! 481 the height of the pyramid times 12 of the zodiac = the jewish new year 5772, 29th of September 2011 . Spread the good news !

  • @SuperHorusra well thanks for that, you are a muppet

  • lame and impractcal

  • @TheSOGRed Impractical??? show me something practical then?.....The pyramid inside is as practical as any house and much more fun, while being safer.....but one can have the same principles applied to most house designs and we will eventually design some conventional homes and even offer free plans.

  • @korvelo very impractical to build... these would all cost a fortune. and don't seem to provide any better 'survival' than a normal house.

  • Why such impractical designs????

  • Nice. But you'll have to have a full time army to keep looters out.

  • @stutteringduck Full time army?......how many looters are you talking about?

So this must be after all of you have been looted probably. Unless they are well armed with military grade stuff they are in for a surprise, regardless of the number.
