I love metal and screaming in music but I really think that music that BTBAM plays should have clean lyrics.  Their music is so pretty and perfect. I think the rough lyrics take away from the music being played.

@mattycorcoran Yeah, I also agree. I LOVE BTBAM SO MUCH! But, the screaming is just too much when it goes for 65 minutes straight. I love The Great Misdirect because there's more instrumental stuff going on.. (i.e- a good 5 minutes of instrumentals in Swim to the Moon).

No offence in the absolute slightest to the band.. but, it just wears me out when the screaming is the same tone for 50 minutes... it makes the amazing instrument work less amazing.

@gsusfreak08 Yeah, I also agree. I heard about this band from Animals As Leaders and Protest the Hero videos, so I thought I should check them out. I heard Alaska and decided that they're all skilled musicians but it's not really for me. Then when I decided to give them another chance I asked a friend to recommend some songs, he recommended this and Selkies: The Endless Obsession among others. His recommendations really showed off BTBAM's more melodic side, which I love.

@Mrcrazy80 This is basically his "live version" of the song, though he adds even more stuff on the Colors Live DVD. A lot of drummers do that. By "that" I mean they record what they write (which is usually the simplest form) then add more to it live for a better sound and more natural feel. Not all drummers do it, but Blake added a lot to this song after the recording process was finished.
