on that one key run where he took it a bit wide, thats what happened to me at champ show! =[ it sucked because key is usually our best and she can spin around in the key..bummer

yeaa, that sucks. at home he can do pretty good spins, but at shows he cant slow down as fast which makes us have wide and over run turns, but we are workin on it for next year! :]

awe this makes me miss my barrel racing summers! they were so much fun, there is a big difference between the barrel racing crowd and the hunter jumper crowd! you guys are actually like so much more laid back and having tons of fun!! but my barn is like the barrel barns! we have so much fun! but I miss doing this sooo much!

Yea, i bet there is! lol. Thanks! Yea you should try doing both! like do barrels just for fun. I love jumping, and want to start lessons in it sometime, i like having a big variety of riding so it never gets boring! lol :]

ya I do it still just over the summer, but the form is so different, that it is hard for me to switch back and forth, but I still do it a couple times over the summer. but you can probably guess my favorite event is jumping figure 8! and at the shows people laugh at me because I have my IRH helmet with my hair all tucked up in it! haha! and I get into "position" over the jump! I look like kinda a loser! haha!! but I love english so much I could never give it up, and I could never let Alvin go.

haha ya i kno!! or the ones that like get left behind and snap on the horses mouth!! haha! I used to that a lot when I was a beginner! and THANK GOD I have an extremely forgiving horse. ya I would NEVER give it up! I love it so much!!
