I always thought that this was 'Til Tuesday's best song. Aimee Mann's voice is so emotive. Very few of today's women can hold a candle to her as a complete musician.

Digital delay on the hi hat, very cool. Hugh Padgam beat you to it though in EBYT by the Police. Hausman sounds so tasteful on this song (obviously he owns a few Police records)
I remember CCHS senior year fall 1986 listening to this when it first came out. Fresh from the aisles of Chess King trying to find a shirt that would make Robert Holmes proud.
WE can all identify with this one. I think that anyone who has dated someone for awhile (whatever time period that you think is sufficient length to establish a relationship) and finds that the other person is giving you mixed messages can relate to Aimee Mann's lyrics.

This is my favorite Til Tuesday song. Saw them in the 80's with Hall & Oates and they were fantastic. Wish we heard more from them.
