@genocidal123 The point of being vegan is to not eat animal products; it really is as simple as that. Some use substitutes, some make up new vegan recipes; most do both. I'd put this in the second category though because it won't mimic the flavour of egg, just the chemical function it has in baking as a binding agent and to add moist to the cake.
