  • I sure hope you got a ride on a Harley. I'm really trying to catch up on your vids, but like you say, after you retire you get a million times busier than when you were working & time has really flown by for me the past 2 yrs.

    Mary

  • dude idk why but ur awesome

  • @lawlks

I agree friend, I don't know what it is, but he is pretty cool...

  • This video give me a great feeling about my own grandpa! I love your video's! Subscribed!

  • Have you borned 1927? You have been on war against Vietnamese or even Japs?

  • He's not American.

  • brits fought against the japs and some fought against the viet congs

  • Very exciting life you lead. Gosh, I'm in my teens and you seem to be enjoying yourself more than I am. I solute you.

  • I am really feeling good now i`ve subscribed to you.

  • omg i saw you on vhi....40 top internet stars! lol

  • subscribe to me

  • awsome!

do you do the voice for Wallace in "Wallace and gromit"?

  • Great video! Always love hearing what you have to say. And have fun on your ride on that Harley ! (-:

  • How can u say "Throw TCP (antiseptic) at Peter's Teeth." that is just mean and silly. The man is 81 years old and he still has original teeth, My hat goes off to him for that, your teeth won't be half as good as his by the time your that age (If you even live to that age) Grow up and stop insulting an old man.

  • Yer you are pathetic to go on youtube just to insult other peoples video's, he has done so much more in his life then you ever will.

  • GREAT to here that you're going out for a Harley ride sooooon. I think it was probably the same HOG (Harley Owners Group) I wrote to, but this IS exciting news. I'm sure one of the HOGS will let you have a ride Peter.

AND ... (never start a sentence with and) ... Vale did do rather well on his last outing didn't he!

Thee "DOCTOR" as it says on the bum of his leathers!

    Take care!

  • you remind me of that guy from 60 minutes

  • well my son Wayne and that's the oldest one is motor bikes mad he is always out on the nice days but he's not road a Harley . ,enjoy your self

  • Peter,

I like the one where you rock. You do rock Sir.

  • lol I've run into similar situations, not having to do with speeches but having to do with vlogs and vlogging. When I try to prepare a vlog, make notes and things, it comes across as prepared and not genuine at all. Better to just wing it, and be oneself. As you did here, and excellent vlog. Have fun on that Harley! :)

  • Life is always too busy! I'm looking forward to seeing you with the Harley club...

  • Thank you, as always, for sharing your life and your wisdom.

  • keep the blog coming

  • You time is coming soon ROAST JERK! I made a video on You! They are starting to close your pathetic channels! I WIN!

    Hello Peter!

  • THEBURGERSHOT: How can you call someone pathetic when you make like, 5 accounts just to insult an 81 year old man. Crawl back into your little hole in the corner of the country

  • Hes doing nice stuff for his age...conferences, articles this and that...you'll be playing computer games...who's pathetic.

  • Thanks for this Peter. I have bikes, but will NEVER have a Harley(not for lack of trying!), but nice to hear, and...

@RubbishInRubbishOut... I did Exactly that very thing in about '85. Crashed into car turning around in front of me- shifter pedal scooped a large piece of flesh off my foot.

  • Nice video. :)

  • Very nice to hear from you Peter, glad to hear someone picked up on your request to let you drive a Harley Davidson. In any case best of luck to you and all the best.

  • Hi Peter, have a great time on the Harley mate! I wrote of my Triumph off last year unfortunately - driver pulled out in front of me trying to do a u-turn (no indicator I might add!) and I went straight into the drivers side door! 60kph to a dead stop, adrenaline kicked in so I didnt feel much, but ended up braking my wrist, tearing a bunch of ligaments and my hip clicks now when i stand up! Be safe and have fun.

  • Keep up with the videos :)

  • Thanks for keeping us in the know! I always look forward to your videos! You're a busy guy!

  • Peter, I always enjoy all your videos! Thank you

  • You sound busier than me and I'm not retired!

  • I love this guy and can only hope I have all my faculties at his age!!

  • nice speech!!! I like it :)

  • Peter. Your Awesome.

    End of Story :)

  • Lifing forever is not a word and witch is out of context. 4? Are you in math class? Please write comments that actually make sense or no one will ever take you seriously, because the way you are writing now, no one will know what you are saying. So, try: I had a pact with God so I will live forever. Okay?

  • great job love the videos!:)

  • I've never used Skype before. Sounds fun-- let us know how it works out!

    thanks again.

  • I hope all goes well with the conference! It's a shame you can't go. Understandable though. Good luck with the skype interview!

Wow, a Harley? That sounds fantastic!

  • Peter, I hope you have a great time on the Harley! An old boss of mine took me for a ride on his Harley on my last day at that particular workplace. This was back in 2004 and I still remember the experience well :)

  • As always, I enjoy the updates. I remember watching your Harley Davidson video and wishing that you had your opportunity to have that experience. I am so pleased that you're going to get that chance! Have a wonderful week!

  • I totally understand the frustration when technology doen't quite cooperate. I have spent much money on video cams etc and just can't get the hang of how to operate them. You do much better than I do...I must have some sort of mental block.

I wish I had a Harley. I would most certainly let you ride it.

  • Love you!

  • I truly believe every person should try to do everything that they wish to do in their lifetime like me they diagnose me over two years ago with cancer there telling me I will not make it to my 40th birthday I am 38 years old now and that's why I am doing everything that I can money committed so I understand your wish to ride a motorcycle and I hope it comes true for you soon sincerely your friend in Arkansas

  • Good luck with the bike! Loving the videos, hope you don't die soon!

  • it was really rude... for him/she to say that.

  • Thats fantastic Peter, the last video I got time to watch of yours was actually the one of you saying about how you would love your funeral with the harleys. Hope you have a wonderful time mate :) x

  • let's hope these two things do not come to fruition in tandum during the upcoming visit ahaha

  • always a pleasure to listen to what's up with grandad Peter! :)

  • wow, a Milan conference would have been amazing, too bad it was costly

    enjoy your future Harley ride

    :)

  • Peter, it's always great to see you, and every time you mention your desire to ride a Harley, I dearly wish I'd kept my 1936 knuckleheadfrom years ago (it was 17 years older than I was). Without a second thought I'd let you take her for a spin.

  • Can't wait to see you on a Harley! It sounds like fun!

Yeah. I've had aspect ratio issues too.

I hope you have a great week!

  • looking forward to your Harley vid!

  • Ooh, congratulations on having such a lovely friend to arrange the Harley Ride for you!!!! Wonderful. Too bad about the disappointments, but you really do seem to be taking them in stride. The world is full of wonderful things if we keep our minds open to them - and you certainly seem to!

  • hope the skype thing goes well ..if/when it happens

aw great blog! cant wait until the next one!

  • hey, you took my name just went a step further and added the Q... nice job

  • Wow! Riding a Harley Davidson is exiting even for someone who's not a motorbike fan. Have fun Peter!

  • That's a pity you couldn't go to Milan =(

  • Great stuff

  • Thrilled to bits to hear you may be whizzing around on a H-D (even if it is as pillion). Wow.

  • Very nice vid Peter. So enjoyable to hear all that is going on with you. You'll have a great time on the Harley - can't wait to see that! Take care.

  • nice pete nice hearing plus seeing ya.

  • Peter,

It's always nice to hear how you are doing.

I find it so refreshing to her an older person speak about aspect ratio's and all that technical lingo :)

    It's a shame you couldn't get to Milan's Web-Tv conference - I heard it's a pretty nifty event.

As always keep the videos coming. I, we, enjoy listening to you greatly!

    Best Wishes,

    (Nick)

  • you're great to listen to

  • Enjoy the motorcycle ride :)

Talking to a camera with scripted content is very challenging. The idea seems easy enough but the execution sometimes feels like an execution.

  • Nice to hear from you again Peter. Look forward to seeing you again.

  • you are my youtube hero!! no jokes

  • Good job, I love watching your videos. 5/5!

  • my man

  • Peter for life.

  • Peter, you're a love. You rock my world.

  • Brilliant as ever ^___^

  • Great video, someone should donate a small Harley Davidson to you. Just big enough to get around in the UK.

  • have you thought about going on twitter Pete ?
