BiggestPossible is far from being a bad pianist. But pulling off this joke just shows how aware he is of his good piano skills, while in fact he is good but far from what really good piano playing is. As a layman I don't expect you to understand though.

I do agree that he is not the best pianist out there, believe me I play piano myself, but he is not even close to bad. The way he starts is just to make people laugh, not to make himself look good. Also, it's a good way to make an intro. Imagine if he started with just the good part. It would sound too sudden too soon.
