A truly appropriate expression for any who has found themselves separated from loved ones. Having served and been away, I can appreciate what others have also experienced whether it was military deployment or other circumstances. I remember way back many years ago when Kenny Loggins split from Jim Messina, and wondering what, if anything, would come after. This song, "Celebrate Me Home" was from his debut solo album by the same title (1977) and what a classic - this track and the entire album.
God Bless you and your precious soldier. I love this song, it makes me so nostalgic.....thank you for putting up the pictures of our amazing soldiers and their precious families. Most of us Americans are super appreciative for the sacrifice your soldier makes for us to live in a country where we feel safe. I hope you and your family have an amazing Christmas. God bless ya'll.
