I like the sound of the song, but it reminds me too much of Manifest Destiny. I recognize most of the land. There's Navajo land there, Ute, Ho Chunk, maybe Cheyenne, etc. So it hurts a bit to see people celebrating on my relatives' homes. It's an anthem for settlers. Sorry to be a downer.

I love the mood of the video. It's such an upbeat song, but the video seems to portray a youthful time that just wasn't meant to--or just couldn't--last by using 70's chromagraghy and also black and white stills. Happy and sad at the same time. What's that called? Bittersweet, I think. So cool. I love the song. It sounds so rich.
