  • Man you're awesome! :) I'm just a 1300 or something and I needed like 5 minutes of practice after your vid to get like any BBK mate in <25 moves. So much thanks! Please do more vids.

  • Thanks, better explained than capablanca in chess fundamentals.

  • thanks for that dude. this was killing me! Maybe you can try a king, knight, and bishop next?...... if you dare

  • @VinVetVic I don't dare! I suffered through this explanation (um, uh, ah...) and wouldn't try chess tut's again.

    Good luck in your games!

  • quit smacking your fucking lips jesus christ that is so annoying you faggish sounding queef

  • I had to do this once, bare kings with two bishops, it was a correspondance qame so I was able to look up the mating technique, figuring it out over the board would be rough.

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • Well presented.

  • Great help! I was having trouble with this finishing move the other day~now I know how to deal with it next time!

  • It won't come up in a game because pawns will dictate the end game, and removing all 16 pawns? Rare.

  • @DigitalAssassin It happened to me today and I ended in a stalemate by mistake and then I watched this video :-)

  • I shudder watching this now, but it works, so it's all good!

  • thank you.

  • Very helpful, thanks!

  • Now show us Night and Bishop mate vs,. lone King

  • wow dude thanks for the lesson.

  • isn't there a rule that states that if your opponent doesn't have piece except for a king then you have to check mate him in 15 moves or its a draw

  • You're thinking on the 50-move rule, if none of the players capture a piece or move a pawn in 50 moves then its a draw.

  • i am familiar with this rule. but there i a rule that states you have to check mate your opponent in 15 moves if he has no pieces but his king. though this rule is not in the tournament rules. but this is a rule.

  • This technique can usually win in less than 15 turns.

  • Also at 1:50 all he has to do is move king from B3 to B2 and its check mate, and we wouldn't waste another 3:10 mins...

  • No, that would be a stalemate, as neither king would be in check, and the black piece couldn't move.

  • lol, it's stalemate, he explains so in the other 3:10 min haha

  • umm what exactly is a stalemate?? lol

  • if the king is not under atack by 1 of your pieces, but can't move anywhere else its stalemate, and the game ends in a draw.

  • where do u download this program?

  • at like 1:34 when u r talking, all u have to do is move e3 to e2 and its a mate

  • Keep in mind this will *never* come up in a real game though. ;)

  • @DigitalAssassin why not though??

  • i think there is rule: When 1 player has only a king left you have to mate him in 20 moves. Whit this tactic it takes too long.

  • It's 13

  • With perfect play here you can average about 10.

  • Thanks!!! I was having a hard time training the mate with the bishops...

    Now it's perfect...

  • Well explained. Thanks.

  • Ha! Thanks, I cringe watching this one now, but it's good to know *someone* finds it helpful. =)

  • great advise, i practiced the motif and it works pretty well. it's handy in blitz games! although the stallmate is pretty dangerous in these positions, with litle time on the clock... but thanx a lot for this patern. did you find this yourself? greatings

  • GOOD EXPLANATION!!!

  • Aw, thanks. =) My first video ev-ev-ev-ev-ever. lol

  • Amazing how many people don't even realise stalemate, even after you've explained it.

Good method. Thanks for the video.

  • in the first vriation I like the move 20.Ba3 Ka1 21.Bb2+ KB1 22.Bd3#

  • this is the right principle but its wrong. you shouldnt use the bishops to pin the king against the wall! setp infront with the king!

  • Good explanation

  • Good explanation!

  • forgot to comment on this, but its a nice method you found to doing this man, really well explained to ^^

  • or G5 and u win. :)) I'd like to play chess with u. u make too many extra moves.

  • This isn't supposed to be a technically correct video, it's supposed to help people see the fail-proof method for mating with king and two bishops. Don't over-analyze! =)

  • G5 would be a Stalemate.

  • What are you doing half the video??? you could have just move your king to E-2 and won wtf???

  • that would have been stalemate.
