This electric mower (even by using power generated at a coal-fired plant) leaves a much smaller carbon foot-print than what Mr. Atillathehun would want you to believe. Gasoline powered mowers running 15 minutes, pollute more than a 2006 Chevy Tahoe running down a highway for 45 minutes. Powerplants scrub their exhausts (although more improvement needs to be done) and it is total fallacy to say electric mowers pollute 7 times more than a gasoline mower.
Do you have an electric mower that's also self propelled? Those tend to be really underpowered because the electric engine is trying to do two things at once and not doing either one particularly well. A push mower with an electric assist (like this one) works much better.
nope. just your average electric mover. i have a third of an acre to mow with the thing and it takes me six hours. if anyone thinks i should continue to use it this summer... they're insane.
why don't i give them a try? because electric mower make all their pollution at the power plant instead of your yard. so? The power companies don't know which day of the week you mow your lawn and really wouldn't care because they can't control output that precisely. all they care about is that they are making more power than you use. so, they just make pollution all week long to make sure they don't get a blackout. seven times as much pollution as a gas mower.
Here in Texas, we generate electricity with wind turbines (we are the wind turbine capital of the world.) Hydro electric power plants are numerous in the US and are totally non-polluting. In Arizona, electricity is now being generated bu solar... Attillathehun needs to do some homework making false claims.
That would be cool. They make R/C kits you can fit on just about anything, although I wouldn't recommend using one with a lawnmower. What happens if you miswire the controls and it drives out into traffic?
Yeah, I'll wait to buy one. I'd like one that can be controlled from my Ipod Touch or Iphone. Apple's new SDK enables the device to work with gadgets.
He says at the end of the video, " why don't you give it a try?"
Well wtf was I thinking watching a video that demonstrates it? Durhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Who wears an apron when mowing?

Was Sunlawn acquired by Brill? I was wondering because some of the parts for the Brill electric models look identical to the old Sunlawn parts.

why are you posting videos for lawn mowers that are unavailable? Stupid faggot.

I'm sure your reading comprehension is low, so I will try to explain in small words.
This video is from the year 2007, when this product was on sale. I am leaving it up for people who still own the mower.

Less talk, more cutting lawn.
This video was useless.

Don't sweat it, dear.
This mower was discontinued years ago, and the company that makes it is evidently no longer in business.
