  • Why was one of the rear tires on backwards?

  • @2LateIWon The guy who installed the tires simply installed one backwards. I simply never bothered to have it reinstalled correctly since the tractor was used as a lawn mower for my back acreage anyway..

  • @wolfman9999999 oh I thought it was like that to give you more traction on purpose when turning or some kind of farmer trick LOL I noticed you said you sold it. What tractor did you replace it with. I have an 8N 1950 ford. I'm wanting something like a 35hp mahindra, Branson Kubota MF or something with 4x4 and front end loader. I do brush hog work on the side but I figured if I had those extra things I could do more work year round like snow removal and dirt work.

    Good vid by the way!!

  • @2LateIWon I did not replace the tractor. I ended up moving cross country for a new job, and no longer own land.

  • i am going to look at a 1500 today it leaks hyd oil under the 3 point

  • Those little Yammer Hammers are tuff! You can get just about any part and manual that you need for Yanmar tractors from hoyetractorDOTcom, fredricksequipmentDOTcom, peqDOTcom, rcotractorDOTcom, sheaftractorDOTnet, and lmtcompanyDOTcom. GOOD VIDEO. THANKS!

  • @231MasseyFerguson Thanx. I will have to check these sites out, as the clutch went out on it about a week ago.

  • @wolfman9999999 Man I hate to hear that about the clutch. I've never changed one, but I heard it isn't too bad of a job on these little tractors. Especially since the YM1500 doesn't have the PowerShift transmission. Yeah just go to hoyetractorDOTcom. (or the other places I mentioned) and order all your stuff. They specialize in Yanmar. Their number is on their website. If you get time, you should read all the stuff on their site also. TONS of valuable information...

  • i love my little tractor just like this

  • are they all that noisy? i just got one and thought something was wrong with it as its noisy..

yanmar 1700-A you have any info on it books places to get parts

  • Yes, they are all that noisy. Mine is quite loud as well. There just isn't any means of adding sound insulation to the old beasts. For run of the mill parts, I can source things like filters at any auto parts store. You'll have to cross reference them to what's on the shelf. For the Yanmar specific stuff, I would try to find out the U.S. equivalent model, and buy what you need according to that number. Yanmar will not sell you parts if they know it's an import.

  • Man, that brings back memories. Sounds like my Grandfather's old Satoh/Mitsubishi 2-banger diesel he used to have. Makes quite the racket, but ya can't kill 'em.

  • This one is to be put up for sale, so if you have $3,000 and a trailer, it can be yours.

  • @wolfman9999999 3000 how many hours?

  • @brian93ist Mine had about 800 hours on it.

  • @wolfman9999999 with 800 hours i really dont see it bringing 3000 dollars it will bring 2000 butihavent seen one bring 3000 before what did it bring?

  • @brian93ist I sold it not working for $1000.

  • @wolfman9999999 thats to bad good little tractors

  • @wolfman9999999 This tractor was sold a couple of months ago.

  • i got to get me one of them tractors

  • looks fun?

  • yeah, it's lots of fun to drive around. Even more fun when you get it stuck up to the axle. :D

  • Turn that thing off! LOL Kinda hard to listen to.

  • Yup those old two cylinders clanked up a storm. They last about forever though.

  • Nice but loud.
