I live on the Isle of Man in the UK about 3000 miles from the USA and i watched the Documentary tonight on a Channel called CBS Reality vis Satellite. The immediate interview with Jennifer Asbenson had me in tears. I have never heard of anything so frightening in my life. This wonderful brave lady deserves the support of everyone. I jotted her name on a piece of paper to look this up as it affected me. This man Urdiales took the lives of others and destroyed families
@DEAMONSEER..your dumb name fits you sooo well...you ugly creep who could probably never get a nice looking woman..your stupidity is showing like BROADWAY LIGHTS...CREEP, cu-t boy, ugly, wanna be serial killer...you are evil and you know it..
This man is not only a disgrace to america, he is a disgrace to our military. They need to quit calling him a " Former Marine" because THAT MAN was NEVER a marine at heart. She has so much courage! Such a strong young lady.
u fukurs down below all need to grow a fuckin brain.... dis chick is a fukin victim and dats dat....dis dunb fuk serial killer needs to die tonite...done
womens are in the position to say yes or no. most of the time they choose to say no, ecept for the one THEY want. but womens tend to forget, that this planet is ruled and ever will be ruled by mens! so, if she thinks that she can walk around like a whore, then she should be treated like one and eventually die.
@ploetzlich30-How was she "walking around like a whore"?.She was waiting at a bus stop.He made her feel at ease which is why she got into the car. There was NO sexual intent on her part.Of course were going to say no to a guy if we dont want them, just like youd say no to a girl you didnt want. Its disgusting the way you are condoning Andrews actions.
@AwakeIntoNothing, don´t you never open your eyes, when walking around? most woman wear a certain type of clothing not to feel good for them self, but to attract mens! in this case she attracted a killer, and got her self almost killed. and the only wónes who are disgusting, are womens dressed like sluts, allways ready for mister right.
@ploetzlich30-How do you know what kind of clothing she was wearing?he picked her because she was ALONE not based on her choice of clothing. Most killers/rapists etc choose their victims based on vulnerability. When a woman is alone she is more susceptible to violence then if she is with a group. You say women attract killers based on the way they dress,so what about Thierry Paulin who killed older grandmotherly type women? They werent out shakin their shit for everyone to see.

@ploetzlich30 Excuse me that is my mother and she is the bravest person and the strongest person i will ever know. If for some second in your life you think she is what you called her, you are wrong. She is my role model and my hero, i would greatly recommend you over think what you just said because you've got your story all wrong. God Bless.
I don't get why people on this page are being so judgmental. She's a stupid un-amazing whore and they have absolutely nothing uncomplimentary to say about the serial killer who tortured eight women to death?
@Juliana65 She was 19 and I'm sure she learned her lesson.
Besides, Andrew Urdiales was stalking her. He already knew where she lived, where she worked, what she liked. It probably would have only been a matter of time before he grabbed her.
@knals16 For someone who's comment reads,"I don't get why people on this page are being so judgmental", wishing murder on someone is quite a judgment. It goes without saying that the murderer is an evil, messed up person and so far, I haven't seen any comments applauding his actions.
@Juliana65 There aren't any comments applauding his actions, but the majority of these people don't seem to feel that it was his fault.
I wouldn't call what I said judgmental. Uncalled for, maybe. I just wanted the upstanding citizen that I directed my comment towards to grow and learn by gaining new life experiences, then after surviving such a situation, confront a bunch of asshats around the corner lying in wait to call them a "stupid whore."
@Juliana65 I don't get where this venom you're spewing is coming from. She was the only one who suffered from her mistake.
I guess what's confusing me here is the lack of compassion and that idea she deserved to die because she foolishly got in a car with a stranger. It comes across like those rape cases where a woman is blamed because of what she was wearing. Does the situation horrify you less to blame her or something? I'm just asking.
@knals16 Yes, confused you are. Nothing I've written is venemous. However, a comment such as yours which reads, " I hope you get murdered someday" IS venemous. It's horrible. Leaving comments like that discredtis you a great deal. Not necessary to let all these "asshats" get under your skin so much. In terms of this being entirely the fault of the killer, I agree with you but people need to be more careful in the choices they make. Of course I am not saying anyone deserves to get killed.
We're arguing over semantics. I don't feel guilty about what I said to that idiot. Calling someone who has been sexually assaulted and almost murdered "a stupid whore" is cruel, demeaning and mysogonistic. I don't think hoping that the douchebag who said that may someday find themselves in a similar situation that they think warrants compassion is overly horrible.
I agree with you that she definitely could have been more careful. Peace.
@knals16 I understand. I don't think she deserves to be labeled a stupid whore. She wasn't interested in sex at all. Just naive, as was I when I was 19.
@Skindoggiedog -you ASSHOLE. Seriously. Next time you're in danger of being murdered, you go ahead and tell the world your reaction, kthanks. She knew he was going to kill her, and she wanted it over sooner than having been tortured by him. He had a plethora of torture weapons he was about to use on her when she challenged him to kill her.
No, she didn't. She said: "I just thought I'd go along with what he was doing and maybe he wouldn't hurt me"
THAT'S what she thought. THEN she was a smart-ass to him.
Oh no. Hang on. YOU get to tell us what she was thinking. Don't you? Tell us more that contradicts everything she says in this clip. I'm sure she'd love to know she wasn't thinking what she said she was, too.
Mocking the guy was a dumb move. You getting upset doesn't change that.
@Skindoggiedog Actually, I think "mocking him" saved her. In her interview on the show "I Survived" she said that she knew that he was probably going to slowly torture her to death and when she started taunting him saying "you aren't really going to kill me, you can't. Do it right here!" she was hoping that he would get angry and kill her quickly instead of making her suffer.
@Skindoggiedog What taunting him and telling him to kill her right here did was make him, out of defiance, throw her in the trunk of his car and head to another location. While in the trunk she was able to escape.
He killed 8 or 9 women if I remember correctly. Do you think all of them fought back?
This woman was hospitalized for 4 years for psychotic episodes.
What is the chance that she hallucinated everything.
