Yeah, it is.

Some people have even considered using it with a fence - that way you can stop projectiles from hurting people as well as know if someone is still in the fenced hazardous zone.

This safety system is so ingenious that it takes out the need to have a fence (depending on your application of course) or light curtains, safety switches, safety mats or bumpers, safety scanners which can all cost an arm and a leg (pardon the pun). On top of that, it's dynamic meaning it's like you have a fence and then you don't and then you do again depending on what is going on at that given time.... Amazing stuff !!
