i think it's great your niece loves to read and be read to. it's so important to instill a love of reading in children at a young age. it breaks my heart to hear kids (and adults for that matter) say they hate reading. anyway, great haul :D

I love VC Andrews! Especially the ones she wrote...(before she past away)....I'm slowly building my collection of her books. I currently have about 40 from the "Flowers in the Attic"....BTW-I LOVE watching you on here!

I read every VC Andrews book when I was in junior high, so good! Try the ruby series.

i think you should read flowers in the attic, even if it's one of those books that people either hate or love. it's just one of those really far off and strange storylines.

Witch & Wizard- What good things have you heard? Because it was horrible.

Part Time Indian- I wanna read it.

Flowers In the Attic- I have 1-4. I haven't read it yet.

Two-way Street- Looks good. My cuz read it and I want to read it!

Ouch. Poor you. I hope you feel better soon. I know what you mean about the Host - compared to her other books it is a MONSTER of a book;) - I am determined to get it read over the summer though. A MUST read is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo...it is such an amazing, exciting, well-written book, along with the two others in the series. And if you can, see the Swedish film based on the novel. You can get it at Walmart now for like only $6, which is such a bargain. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

Is the VC Andrew the first ever book or just part of the hundred so series. Because the original VC Andrew is dead and the other books are penned by ghost writers. Good video like always.

i heard and saw some pretty bad ratings of witch and wizard =/ i hope you can enjoy it. and also, do you ever order books online? they have HUGE selection on bn.com or amazon online etc. and if you spend $25 its free shipping, and the books are alot cheaper (then they would be in regular bookstore). =]

I dunno why everyone loves The Host so much. It's ok, but the main character is like a replication of Bella. So what's the fun in that? x'D But anyway, maybe you'll like it.

If you bring "The Host" you might want to bring another book just incase. The Host is really hard to get into.

TSSLOBT was amazing! i really hope you like it! i got it first day it came out and finished it on the car ride home. ( i live 1 hour away from a big city with actual bookstores) i wouldnt bring the host. its so huge and on a vacation when would you have time to really read? you should bring graceling.

It's so sweet of you to buy your niece something. I'm going to do that for mine when we got to Oregon next month. I say bring them both with you to Florida, that way you can pick the one you're most in the mood for at the time. But, if I had to choose one, I would choose Graceling. Hope this helps! ^_^
