Since I saw this opera in Houston in 1977 I have been searching for a recording or a production of El Capitan. These two excerpts have been thrilling. Thank you very much for this excellent production. I do not understand why it is so rarely produced since the music is beautiful and the plot charming--as I recall. Could you please post "Pop, Pop, Popa Dear"? I lived in Cleveland in 1978-1980 but I live in Omaha now . So I cannot make it to Canton for a live production.
