  • thumbs up if u heard blues clues in back round

  • i love the picture at 0:20 it's cute XD. I was diagnosed with a weak form of autism when I was 6 years old. And I was the best at art work/textiles in school. I remember when I painted this picture when I was 11 with acrylic paint and the teachers liked it that much they put it up in the staff room, lol.

  • Am I the only one that noticed it looks like a cock?

I hope I dont sound like one myself for saying that lol, its not bad for a 5 yr old

  • Impressive!

  • This is so cool! I noticed that this was a while ago... Is her paintings getting better?

  • @revorocks123

If you actually listened to the video you'd know she's a girl, not a boy.

And autism can be a very hard condition to live with; in some cases it needs around the clock care.

Bragging that you are better than an autistic child at artwork is pretty ignorant.. unless you were joking?

It's like saying "I can run faster than a cripple!"

  • @SteveFusionX Hi mate, I didn't make that comment. I left my YT account logged in at college and some friends got on it and pissed around, so please ignore what was said, I'm not like that!

  • @revorocks123

    ok, no worries :)

  • @SteveFusionX hi, just wanted to say that your analogy was kind of off there, saying 'im better than an autistic person at art' is in no way the same as saying i can run faster than a cripple' for the reason that often-times autistic people have incredible artistic talents and abilities.

in comparing the two scenarios you are basically saying an autistic person can never be good at art, in the same way that a cripple could never run, and this is definitely not the case

  • Wonderful artwork. I did the same thing at her age .

Very Very Good for a 5 year old , most are still learning to draw circles and stick figures by this age in development.

  • my little brother gunner is autistic. his favourite topic is legos and spends his time drawing dozens of pages from memory of how to build certain sets of legos. for all of the people talking smack about this mother simply showing her childs work think of this: would you be making such a fuss if this child wasnt autistic?

  • I looove her wall, shes soo pretty and this is a nice vid :)

    Keep on drawing sweetheart!! <3

  • how precious :)

  • woww :) shes amazing people just dont understand how much more there is to people with autism and any other disorder for that matter xxxx :) there a video that I uploaded on my profile of my little autistic brother dancing and you wouldnt believe that he has autism with the way he dances :) hes fantastic :D xxxx

  • My five year old can't draw this well, and I'd be hardpressed to say my six year old can (and he's pretty good for his age)

  • Your daughter sucks at drawing.... My three legged dog could draw better pictures then that shit.

  • @Suddy911 Is it getting through your big fat dick-shaped head that...:

    1) She is FIVE years old

    2) She has AUTISM if I ever see your fuckface in public, I will run your ass right into the ground to a journey to hell- where you belong

  • @97beachboy I dont understand why this video has 50k views... that looks like an average five year old's artwork.... She may not even have autism for all I know. What is the point about this video? Autistic kids can draw?

  • @Suddy911 are you fucking serious? all i have to say is that im sorry your mommy didnt have enough space on her fridge for your artwork. save your teenage angst for your inbred family you prick.

  • @wallflowerzeen loool. umadbro? stop raging, I didn't even say anything offensive.

  • Can't wait till she gets older, she'll be a beautiful artist <3

  • My friend Gillian has an older brother in 6th grade named Joey. He has a special talent with art too.

  • Is the only problem with autism is loniness and social disorder? Maybe u can make autism kids bond wit autism kids

  • @Jordanferfer - It is better for children with autism to learn appropriate social skills and communication skills so that the can be a productive part of society. I am not certain that most children with autism suffer from loneliness. My daughter seems perfectly content playing by herself.

  • @jlmlorimer exactly :D I have aspurgars syndrome and I am litrally put through HELL my parents are always talking about me trying to get me to be social and hang out with other kids... brings so much pain, I honestly love to be alone, without having to comply with others thoughts and all. :)

  • @Jordanferfer Its all up to them.

  • She's just precious, and has so much talent for being so young. All the best to you and your family.

  • I grew up not knowing I had autism (SPD) until recently (20). It really does explain a lot of what happened to me. I'm just worried now that since I never got any support that I won't be able to function very well. It is a little late for rigorous cbt.

  • @Blitzingtakin, you made it this far so give yourself some credit. If you can make it to 20, you'll be fine.

  • Can you send me your email... I am interested in talking about your daughter. Sharing stories. It's rare for my to find parents with girls on the spectrum.

I have a 3 year old who has autism.

    cowgirly21@yahoo.com

  • This is awesome! This kid has a great eye, keep encouraging her.

  • Your daughter is very talented and the drawings are very pretty! Just keep encouraging vher in her endeveaours and I'm sure she is going to be evenbetter in the years to come

  • although not to an extent as the rest of us. I started drawing voraciously ever since I could hold a pen :) and have a tons of dated drawings from when I wa little. I still like to draw/paint, but was mostly dealing with schoolwork lately and am planning on further developing my talent, coz I believe you should use the gifts you were giiven!.

  • I could draw like that when I was 5, and at 9 like vast majority of the adults couldn't, but II don't have autism, however, maybe somemild Asperger's. Also, the artistic talent runas in my family on my dad's side, bothbth his 2 sisters, he designed his own huge house, which was really awesome and dfferent, his sister as well, my brother is also a very competent drawer, but his affinity is music, he doesn't draw, but his drawings from school are very very good. My sister is also above average,

  • So very cute!!! I have 2 boys with Autism myself, and your daughter is just remarkable!!! Kudos to you for doing a wonderful job with her!!!! Keep on encouraging her!

  • She is very talented i also have autistic and draw alot...you must be very very proud of her :)

  • I hope your daughter continues making art!

  • i was a better artist at 5 even without autism

  • Lots of scum commenting on this page.

Get off the computer until you learn a thing or 2 about autism....or until you learn how to be polite.

  • -.-

  • That's shit.

  • i feel like going to get some McDonalds.....hmm..bigmac

  • We had a hard time getting Alex interested in drawing on time but he did like drawing on the wall. I finally decided to give him all of my living room walls. Before I knew it, he was writing his name and able to start drawing and writing words on paper. Not exactly conventional way to get my kid to draw, but it worked

  • Thats great to see such a talented little girl. However, not all autistic people have such talents and unfortunately most people think that autism means you are a 'savant' which just isn't so.

  • It's been 3 years exactly since this came out, so, how is the little one doing?

  • stop giving my comment thumbs down you all know everything i said was true

her art work is not special

  • she's gonna become a really really good artist.

  • thats a girl

  • lol

  • keep up the good work (:

  • it's great that you display her art in your home. Many parents just throw it in a box or in the trash. She seems like a great kid!

  • I can't help but smile. Autism itself is ugly, but the children with the disorder are some of the most beautiful and passionate people I know.

  • she drew a penis

  • What? WHERE!?!?!?!

  • gotogodink

    lol u dont see it?!

    0:12

she made the head a different color and everything

    &he had blue balls!!

    lmao

    shes still cute tho

    for a perv;)

  • @JamaicanCutie18 oh, i see... hehehaha ==3

  • I'm sorry, but it's not good at all. By the way you describe it, it could be Michaelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci. But no...it's not.

  • lol u mean she??

  • My son has just turned 2 and he said momma and dad at about 8 months but hasnt said anything eversence. It gets me so mad thinking about it being possibly related to vaccines but i guess my question is.... Does she ever show emotion? like she knows you love her? I have to fill out alot of papers I got today and send them back before the autism center will see us and its a question that has been running threw my head. he wont let me hold him much or hug him. Please respond thanks

  • She shows a lot of emotion. Lucky for me she is a pretty happy child. She has come so far since she was two. I feel your pain because I lived it. I used to think she didn't know who I was, now I know she loves me. Send me a private message and I will send you my number. It will get better! Good luck.

  • @Underdog762 sounds like temple grandin

  • artistic autist

  • I have a really dumb question, but are all autistic people high intelligen..sorry I dont know where eles to ask.

your child is soo cute and she is artistic at such a young age.how lovely =)

  • Autism is a "spectrum disorder" so you have a wide range of variability in intelligence and other gifts. It is definitely an interesting disorder. I feel like many children with autism are much more intelligent than people give them credit for. I am always amazed at what my daughter understands. Even I underestimate what she can do from time to time. That is not a dumb question.

  • from the tital i was expeticing sovont stuff. but it's okay.

    BTW i'm an assper

  • precious

  • lol it's ridiculous how jealous people get.. bless this child, she's very precious :)

  • Your daughter is not autistic!!!

  • thats mean its just a little kid o come on have a heart!!!!!!!!

  • called a hatefull joke, bro

  • shes 5 and she has autism u should be nicer and it dosen matter if its a joke its still cruel

  • People not all autisic people are savants

  • she is beautiful, i love her drawings :)

  • I'm not saying that your child isn't autistic because she very well maybe, but lady, it's obvious that you are just using your childs condition as something to exploit to the public for your "own" fame. "the mother of the autistic child"... why can't you just say, "hey, this is my child and I'm very proud of her creative ways of expression."? She shouldn't be special to you because she's autistic, she should be special because she is YOUR daughter.

  • uhm i dont see anything special in this pictures...arent autistic people supposed to be good at drawing?

  • One word...rude!

  • All autistic people are different.

  • I had an autistic kid in my art class years ago. She was really good and creative. There are a bunch of videos of autistic people who are amazing artists. I think autistic people are very ARtisic. I'm glad that your child is one of them.

  • I really like the drawings..especially the tortoise drawing..i fail my art every year..tats pretty bad...anyways..Nice drawings and keep up the good work , future artist :D

  • that's not very nice of you to refer a child's progress or learning to horse shit.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

    She's pretty cute! :D

  • Where do ass holes like you come from?

  • You are deeply disturbed

  • Whoa you sure showed that five year old child. Congratulations.

  • wauw!

  • Simply AMAZING. She has great talent and I love how you display all of her work =)

  • I hear blues clues in the background.

  • She's a great kid. Keep encouraging her.

  • Awesome. The arts are the universal language, you know you have a good kid when they are passionate about that!

  • your an a-hole....if shes only 5 shes amazing!

  • buddy chill out she is 5 shes not looking to become an artist..

  • She is autistic. I bet you think you're special don't you.

  • I am.. and I was at 5.

  • WHAT 'S SHE EATIN?

  • looks like french toast... i can go for some of that

  • aww my bro had saverly autistic and he cant do anything. he also has sezures, a feeding tube, and he constantly gets sick. as much as i hate to say it, u really get tired of it. he used to just be autistic, but as he got older, he got worse. trust me, you might think UR daughter has it bad, but u really dont relize how luky u r. My bro died at 18.

  • I love her art:) Great colors and words!

  • sad its a boy u know

  • mjw789234...

    Are you really saying that?

If you watch this video, she says, "This is my five year old daughter."

Daughter means female. Female means girl. When art belongs to a girl, they call it her art.

  • Aww ^^ those are really good.

  • What the fuck is your problem mrchairmann777? Not satisfied with your life, so go on youtube and pick on autistic 5 year olds? FUCK OFF.

  • *sorry for the profanity*

  • Awareness. I am simply trying to show that there are positives with autism. I am proud of her, and as she makes progress my hope is that other people who have children on the spectrum will also have hope that their children will make progress too. I am overjoyed with the amount of successes my daughter has had over the last couple of years. If you haven't seen my daughter lately you should see "Believe to Achieve". She is an amazing artist now. I love her and I am proud to show HER off!

  • Your daughter is a good artist, but what would want to make you put this video on the site? Are you showing off? Becuase it seems your just destroying her innocence by slapping videos of her on the internet and proudly announcing her illness.

Just a question, a mature answer would be apprciated.

  • dude what the fuck shes 5 and has autism so stfu you little piece of shit

  • 1.Her autism luckily isn´t that extreme, because she can communicate quite well.

You can be happy that you can reach her by words so well.

2.All drawings remind me of cartooncharacters.

3.Without blaming you for anything, I need to advise the following:

If you got the time (thats how it seems), try to not let her watch TV so much. Get books on such kids & how you can support/advance them.

    Coz:

TV merely educates kids. Autistic kids can -if one can reach them- learn so much with ease...

  • ...And even more important it is for autistic kids to ge educated well so they can cope with the world.

Support her by doing stuff she learns from.

    Even at this age.

Keep in mind that autistic kids are highly intelligent - their brains just store the information differently from ours. Thats why (in tough cases) they can´t cope with our world and block completely.

I wish you and your kid all the best!

And of course a merry xmas...

  • you are a fuckhead. i'm sorry to poison your video's comments with profanity, jmlorimer, but mrchairmann777 is way out of line.

  • I think they're amazing, and it's lovely for her to be expressing herself creatively. You have a beautiful daughter jlmlorimer

  • nice drawing,

    kinda sad you're telling

her and everyone in the world

she is autistic.. does it matter

    when you can draw beautiful?

  • A lot of people STILL think Autistics are morons and vegetables. This educates against that.Maybe the point of the video isnt so much the art but the fact thats she has autism and does the art.

  • Great Job

  • lol this reminds me of me our fridge was literally covered in my creations, lol I used to make up characters and give them names.

  • you cant tell she is autistic in the video. art from young minds is always so amazing. great job.

  • general children with autism are quite cleaver but may take longer than average to learn things another trait is that they may find it difficult o interact with other children in a class room and may sit in a corner and play by themselvs if you have any questions email me on: mark11111112 @ yahoo . co . uk (i have autism btw)

  • wow...

    she responds really well!!!

God blessed her with the talent

that will help her for life.

    =]

  • yea im actualy more impressed with the nmaes i dont know any 5 years olds that use x to make the z sound i didnt reealy use it till i watched 300 lol but yes awsomeness

  • she colors very nicely as wel

  • shes cute but the drawings seem fairly noraml... at least with my family

  • she draws beter than me :|

  • Those drawings are definitely better than average for a five year old

  • I liked your choice of a jeopardy clip.

  • amazing daughter, don't think the artwork is anything out of the ordinary though.

  • check out her newest pictures and tell me what you think? (honestly) I am impressed. Look under "autism-believe to achieve part one" You don't have to agree with me, I am her mom it is JMO. :)

  • Wow. I can tell she'll be a very good artist with such a originality.

  • very interesting! the drawings are very different to those from the average of 5 year old children. maybe she could become a special and famous artist some day!

  • Good job!

I'm not an artist, but I am autistic. I do sing, though...

  • From one autie artist to another

    shine on lovely girl.
