Mid 2009 to Mid 2010 was the hottest 12 months on record. The heatwave in Russia more than made up for the cool conditions in the US. The amount of snow that falls is linked to the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere. The warmer the planet the more water vapour you'll find in the atmosphere and the higher the precipitation (snowfall and rain).

Because describing local temperatures as an argument against global warming is a new kind of stupid that you don't see on any of the news networks here in Sweden.
You'd have to be a retard or wasted to deny climate change. You have to be smart to deny climate change is caused by humans. Global warming is bullshit. They call can coo caw all day and pass this or that law. I'm not changing my lifestyle for no one, no how. Myself and millions more are gonna continue with our massive carbon footprint and there is nothing anyone can do about it and the earth will not warm to catastrophic levels as a result. Fuck Al Gore
I found decent arguement on this subject either way, but there is one certainty that rings home as truth - if governments are dealing with it we'll all be kept in the dark, taxed to the eyeballs for it and it will still end up costing the people dearly either way.
And where do they send our recycled goodies? Sold to countries that have very little concept of anything above surviving, let alone global warming.
