I enjoyed your video, mon ami. Your English talk is not as funny as my French.
I have a 12 inch barrel on my 2240 and, with Crosman Premier Hollow Point Hunting Pellets and a temperature of 60 degrees F, in chronographs at 475 fps. My 2240 is stock except for the 12" barrel from MellonAir. I do plan on installing a Crosman steel breech, and perhaps a power adjuster. I will also do some tuning of the trigger.
What a stupid norm FPS , it means nothing like kmh or mph or m/s .Tell me how many jouls it haw in stock . "J" is measure of kinetic energy not stupid speed , if you use oder type of pellets the fuckinf FPS will going to hell , please .
your best results on a totaly stock 2240 you need to use 14.3 grain pellets and the pointed ones form crosman do work best for speed testing, wadcutters you lose a few fps but great pellets for 10 meter target shooting, modding the 2240 for speed well there lots of mods out there, but on a stock barrrel your pretty much stuck at the 430 to 440 , its still te best pistol on the market for under 500 fps and its got quaility as well as performance..
@kriegmeister3000 I just ordered a F1 Chronograph & will be testing my most powerful 2240 some time in the next week. It will be fun to test the 2mm as well if it picks it up.
Very long time as long as you don't over tighten the end cap. That's the cause of damaging the cartridge seal and really tight it restrict the flow when the seal is squeezed. A longer barrel can make 2240 shoot to 550fps with temp over 65 degrees.

@Xxoo0o0o0ooxX I was wondering last night about the FPS of my potato gun. :-)
kriegmeister3000 1 year ago
@kriegmeister3000 Yes me to... Potato gun must be Chronographed!!

Its about 30ft/sec difference when you use the same pellets!
Decent tin of pellets varying in same tin will equate to 10ft/sec difference, excluding the mediocre brand names.
Also that Chrony is not that accurate on a shot to shot basis, can register +/-6ft/sec difference on any shot excluding the lighting.

what did you use for the seals?

what happens if u dont put that oil on the c02
qwerty134098 2 years ago
@qwerty134098
The oil keeps your seals nice and tight.
KingErrek 1 year ago
@qwerty134098 Eventually the gun will start to leak, this oil prevents that.
