There is going to be a Season 4 of Chuck, however only 13 episodes are in order not 22.

As Season 2 was coming to a close, NBC was planning on not allowing the show to return for a third season. They eventually changed their minds after a massive fan movement was started to save the show; the most popular method was to buy many subway footlong sandwiches, as subway was one of Chuck's biggest endorsements. Some other fans sent NBC boxes of Nerds candy, and things like that.

Basically my point is that it makes no sense to say that NBC was supportive, since they tried to cancel it.

@oskeboy I have no idea. I hope they make a Season 4; it would suck to see the show come to an end after just 3 seasons. It depends on whether or not the story has room to continue, and whether NBC will allow it. Remember, the fans had to fight to convince NBC to let Season 3 happen, so there's no telling what will happen.

I'm not sure why NBC wanted to cancel; it might have been because they didn't realize the show was as popular as it was.
