  • one of my new favorites

  • This is deep and very tight

  • He is the deepest rapper I have ever heard

  • Shad is yet to come out with a bad song.. Most consistent rapper ever. Inspiring

  • shad is dope

  • "Tryin to listen to Jesus its hard as fake boobs

At times i stay tuned hear the bread break

And grape juice and grey goose gossiple

Prelude let it play through" - can somebody explaine this part please?)

  • @krasava90 i think hes saying that its hard to listen to religion sometimes hence 1, 2 but i think you got 3,4 wrong

  • @krasava90 (1)The word after "grey goose" is gospel. This is a loaded verse, and an explanation might give you more questions than answers but you asked so here's what I got. This is talking about a Christian tradition called "communion", look it up, it will help you understand this. Communion involves breaking bread and drinking wine, but actually grape juice at most churches. What I think he is referring to by "grey goose gospel" is the argument between different churches about communion wine.

  • @krasava90 (2)Some ppl argue about what is ok for communion wine. But the main point is that he tries to hear Jesus, and that can be difficult. At times he stays tuned, or hears from Jesus. The bread breaking symbolizes Jesus' body broken on the cross. So in that sense he is using the words "bread" and "wine" to directly refer to Jesus. So when hears the bread break (and grape juice and grey goose gospel/good news), he means he hears Jesus and the things Jesus has done for him (ie. salvation).

  • @largeatlas thanks) it's really complicated line, I must admit) but still now I can understand what is he talking about)

  • "Silence is the sound of patience"... probably my favorite line of the entire song...

  • This song is hot.

  • Mindblowing.

  • had goosebumps listenin to it. he's a genius.

  • @ngndesign then you must be a very caring person

  • Shad uses a lot of references in his music, and the weird things is i know most of them o_O

  • this guy is a pure lyrical genius

  • Dope shit

  • How could anyone even think about hitting that "Dislike" button on this track?! Unreal...

  • @VivaLaGrenade true, thats why there is only 1 dislike hahaha. Whoever did dislike is an idiot though

  • So glad your coming back to London to perform

  • amazing...his songs a are a lil short tho

  • @catramax yeah i know what you mean. but i feel like a lot of songs usually drag out to 4-5 minutes. i think shad plays the tune, gets his point across and makes it short and sweet. i kind of like it as a change.

i sometimes hate when a song starts...and a minute and a half into it the lyrics start lol. i see your point though, but i think i appreciate it more.

    happy chillin

  • blake ziggy likes men! big fat hairy sweaty men.

  • never heard of this cat where is he from

  • @RichardsonBud20 London Ontario

  • yo this is a nasty rich kidd beat. great collabo with shad

  • wow, Shad's verses in this are AMAZING

  • One of Shads top 5 songs in my opinion.

  • @10wil10 haha how can you have a top 5 it must be so hard :|

all his songs are like in the number one spot for me :P

  • This is a fucking great album.

  • this ill is underrated !!

  • Music is a great way to heal

and a safe place to feel,

    trapped in this fake world

    a gateway to real

    -Shad

  • @xboxandipod

    best musical quote ever.

  • i am proud to have seen this guy in london lol i had no idea who he was going into the concert, but when i left i felt like i've been missing out for a looong time. props to u shad, and to anyone who likes this

  • @Shadmiester Shit, when'd he come to London??

  • 162 views!?! No comments!? That is downright shameful..

I got this as a present a few weeks ago. I went in blind and came out thinking that this may indeed be the best album of 2010. Forget Drake, Shad is the best rapper to come out of Canada in the past year.. His rhythm and flow reminds me of Guru of GangStarr, that says it all.. Some insane lyrics too..

  • @TheSkrtel37 Its a shame. hes better then a whole bunch of rappers and they have million of views. If you put lil wayne or some other shitty rapper then it would have millions of views!!!

  • @TheSkrtel37 If you haven't yet, take in his last album "The Old Prince".

  • @KardiFan2000 Thanks, will ty and get that.

@clayzekilla I know, but that's the way the game works now. The rap game doesn't want rappers with a Masters degree, the rap game wants dickheads with grills, tattoos, bling and shit grammar.

With that said, Shad is starting to blow up. I heard Rose Garden on Radio 1 a few weeks ago, it's probably the most popular radio station in the UK..
