These guys are great. I loved this song the first time I heard it. I recently discovered another song of theirs called "The General Specific". It's a short song but they rock it for all it's worth. Especially the piano player. I listened to it so many times after I found it that I had memorized the words. If you haven't already heard it, take a listen and enjoy.

From a musical point of view, this song is so simple. The style is pretty classic for a modern rock song. The vocal structure is different throughout the chorus and verse. The harmony tops it all off. It all blends together so well. This song is just awesome. Really awesome.

Just because the song is called Laredo or about Laredo or set there or whatever you want to call it, does not mean that they had to shoot the video there. That's like saying every movie is shot exactly where the plot says.
