If you wanna get rid of it or at least make it dissapear really really quick, something that has worked for me the fastest.

just brush your teeth really well, then take a dicoxaciline capsule, and open it, its got the powder inside, just with your own saliva moist your lips a lil bit, and put the dicloxaciline powder of the capsule and spread it in the affected area, until it's all covered. by next day it should be already be like it was burt, and will beging to heal. hope it works for u.

Just another person trying to sell us something... I got a cold sore and tried varies home methods. The best I've tried is pure apple cider vinegar. Using a tissue or q-tip I kept reapplying and holding up on there until it stopped stinging. Within a few hours the cold sore had completely dried out and formed a scab. Hydrogen peroxide is also good for keeping the area clean. Also because this will dry out your lips, to prevent cracking and bleeding apply non scented lip balm with a q-tip.

Oh and make sure its a lip balm that you didn't use when you had the cold sore. If you think you may have used it before you realized you had one then cut off you top and wipe with a tissue. Soak the cap in hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol.

Actually a herpes blister on the lip or around the mouth is not from an STD.. It is not sexually transmitted there are two diferent types of Herpes virus. Or maybe even more because some people can get herpes anywhere and its called Zoster herpes
