@boogolfer Ive used a lot of really high end drums, the Gretsch kit isnt that bad, it just doesnt have the attention to detail payed to like the other kits ive used. The claws that are on the bass hoop are kinda cheap, the bearing edges arent perfect, and the wood hoops dont fit the bass drum perfect. Im just really picky. The kit is great if you arent really picky.
@drumsistkrieg1349 actually my family is really poor haha. I have just been playing for a long time and have saved up over time. I get a lot of help from drum companies and other musicians. I Actually dont have this kit anymore, Ill have to do an update. I have a yamaha rock tour custom kit now. I got an awesome deal at my local music store :)
@drumsistkrieg1349 They are 10 times better in my opinion. The hardware on the Rock tours are a lot more durable and the powder coating doesnt peel off like it does on the club mods. Ive always been a huge Yamaha fan because even their cheaper sets are better quality than most other companies. I also just got a 21" A sweet ride, and I fricken love that cymbal!!!
Funny, I ordered my SJC kit in that color scheme because I liked how that kit looks so much. Its literally the same kit but with Re-Rings and made by SJC
"A 14" medium thin.....(as looking at hats) crash that should be here but i dont have it." Just wondering, why would you have a tiny cymbal with a 20" crash and 22" ping ride.?
@midwestbrigade12 haha I only use it as a splash cymbal. I just recently broke it though. It was a very old cymbal, and I don't think they make it anymore.
Is that We The Kings in the background? One of my favorite drum companies is Detroit Drum Co. They're expensive but they sound great and look even better.
@MrDRUMVIDEOS yea you probably won't get it for another 3 months hahahaha... sorry to make you feel stupid for spending the money but you should have gone with TMD Custom Drums.... check em out. way better than SJC and cheaper. still maple keller shells. tmdcustoms dottt comm...

@drummaryan Yeah, I like Yamahas too. Rock tours seem like they respond really well and they have low tuning ranges.
drumsistkrieg1349 2 weeks ago
@drumsistkrieg1349 yeah they do. The mahogany shells they use are better quality than than the club mods too.

drumbeeter 7 months ago
@drumbeeter I only said the snare was from SJC, in the video I even say that it's a Gretsch kit, and that I didn't like it.
drummaryan 7 months ago
@drumbeeter Nope, I have always played grestch, NO problems. He must of got a bad one if that stuff is true.

The only downside is that you can really rim shot with messing the hoops up. It also wouldn't sound or feel good.
IAmJamesRoy 10 months ago
@IAmJamesRoy Yeah, your right. I mainly use this snare in the studio for a balad sound. I use a Yamaha brass nouveau snare live.

I wish mama and dada had money to buy me that kit! you should be thankful you have an expensive kit like that.
